There is something to be said for being snow-bound. The Bag Lady just isn't sure what that something is! She is tired of the snow. She is tired of looking at it, she is tired of talking about it, she is really tired of trying to walk through it.
She wishes there was something else going on around here to tell you about, but there's not. There's just snow. She was sitting in the living room, watching TV with the Cowboy, her back to the window. The sun was shining behind her. The Cowboy got up, looked out the window and said "It's snowing." Even when the sun is shining, it has been snowing! Sheesh.
She went out to check cows not long after that, and the sun was shining. It was still trying to snow, but not as hard as it had been. And it doesn't really show up well in this photo, but it looks kinda pretty anyway. (Somewhere under that snow is the Bag Lady's garden...) If you click on the photo to enlarge it, all the little sparkly bits are the last few snowflakes. And the Bag Lady is really, really hoping they will be the last few snowflakes of this season!!
It has warmed up a little, so the snow is packing down a bit, and is getting slippery. Oh joy, oh bliss. The corral is a lovely, muddy mess. Ah, the country life.
The days are getting longer. The Bag Lady took this picture at almost 9 pm last night. It doesn't get dark here now until 9:30 or later. In a month or so, it won't get dark until almost 11 pm.
You can see that the snow has melted and packed down a little from the other day. With any luck, it will warm up enough today to melt most of this.
