At any rate, at least its all sparkly... maybe it can be a nice reason to curl up with hot chocolate in front of the fire one last time before spring hits? I'm ...Hi, Emily - glad you enjoy the snow pictures. I'm getting a little tired of it, myself. Almost cried when I heard the forecast for tomorrow - more snow.

Missicat - if you visited N. Dakota around the summer solstice, it's entirely possible it was light at 9:30 pm. The further north you go, the longer the light. Where I live, at the summer solstice, it never gets completely dark if the sky is clear. More like a really heavy twilight. Sun sets around 11 pm, then rises around 3 am.

Geosomin - cows are capable of getting pregnant around 6 months of age, but most ranchers wait until they are between 12 - 14 months of age before they allow them to be bred. (And the gestation period is similar to humans - around 9.5 months (286 days.)the Bag Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17434610508260994331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8329622951839766826.post-36465269858380413972008-04-23T08:30:00.000-06:002008-04-23T08:30:00.000-06:00Okay, I'm starting to think you actually live at t...Okay, I'm starting to think you actually live at the north pole. I know there's an age where you breed them on purpose, but how young can they be?Geosominhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15729167937433295927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8329622951839766826.post-6744480299415063662008-04-23T08:09:00.000-06:002008-04-23T08:09:00.000-06:00I remember visiting my grandmother in N.
