The Bag Lady had quite a whirlwind weekend!
She and the Cowboy and his brother spent Saturday working with the cows and calves.
Then one of her cousins and her cousin's husband arrived from out of town for a visit.
Sunday was spent visiting with them and baking bread in the outdoor oven.
Sunday night, the last of the heifers finally had her calf. The Bag Lady will officially introduce the calf complete with photo a little later.... she hasn't had time to take a picture yet.
Just as soon as she has a minute....
I so wanna see the cowboy for some reason.
or maybe we can just see the back of his head? like we did you? with hat? sans hat?
I'm with MizFit: Cowboy pic, sans hat, sans boots, sans pants...?
Oops sorry, got a little carried away there. Sounds like a great weekend!
Someday I will have some of your outdoor bread.
Looking forward to the latest baby bovine.
Miz - that can be arranged - check back later....
Crabby - I'm shocked!!! (And with ya, all the way....;)
dfLeah - yes, yes you will, as soon as you come for a visit!
And soon, I promise!
Naturally the calf would be born on a busy weekend!
We are waiting patiently for the pictures.
Had a crazy weekend myself....can't wait to see the new baby! I picture Cowboy as being sort of a Sam Shepherd/Sam Elliot kinda guy. Am I close?
I am just imagining the smell of your bread baked in the outdoor oven. It must be heaven!
Sounds busy busy busy!
I'll trade you some of your baked bread for a bottle of berry beer?
I'm jumping on the "lets see some cowboy" bandwagon too!
dfTerrie - Soon - I promise! Probably within the next hour or so.
Missicat - funny you should say that - he's kinda a cross between Sam Shepherd and Tommy Lee Jones, with a little bit of Mel Gibson thrown in...:)
SB - the smell IS fabulous! But the oven has developed yet another crack. Sigh.
Geosomin - bring the beer on up, 'cause the bread is best when it's still warm from the oven!
Hilary - I might just have to post a photo.... a little later....
Sounds like a interesting weekend.
Yup, it surely was!!
