Here is yet another picture of the double petunias on the Bag Lady's deck.
(She really is enamoured of them, isn't she?)
Visible in the background are some of the hollyhocks blooming in the flowerbed.... and the Princess, attacking an itch:
And here is a picture of the rest of the plants in containers on the Bag Lady's deck (more flowers, several kinds of pepper plants and several tomato plants):
Photo Finish Friday is the brainchild of the Bag Lady's cousin, Leah, over at the Goat's Lunch Pail.
Have a great weekend!

Excellent! I think you feel like I do...gotta enjoy those blossoms while they last. Love the shot of the Princess scratching her itch. Leah's idea for Photo Finish Friday is brilliant.
Oh, those are gorgeous flowers . . . I'm jealous!! :)
OH...I just want to curl up in that basket chair with a cup of tea and a good book and smell the flowers.
It looks so nice :)
Lovely Sis. Aren't you glad you never got rid of that chair?
Beautiful. I wish I could send Bigger Girl to get gardening lessons. She wants to grow things, and I don't know how to help her.
Cheryl - yes, I do. Our growing season is so short here that I have to take pictures to get me through the long winters!
Marste - thanks! (Strikes me as kinda funny - don't you live in California, the land of perpetual sun and warm weather?)
Geo - Thanks! I have been known to do just that - curling up with a good book and smell the flowers!
Reb - if that chair could talk....
:)
messymimi - send her up! I could use some help.... err... I mean, I'd love to teach her some gardening tips! :)
Love the photos. The front porch looks very relaxing.
Yes, I will be having me some double petunias next summer! (I asked; my friend at the produce stand has them along with the single ones among her flower starts and I never noticed!)
Mary Anne in Kentucky
The double petunias are beautiful. And I am envious of your pepper plants... ours were extremely pitiful this year, and I don't know why.
Thanks, Janell. It's a lovely place to have coffee in the morning, which I plan on doing very soon!
Mary Anne in Kentucky - I hope you do try them next year. They make me think of Southern Belles, for some reason (frilly dresses?)
kcinnova - my pepper plants are coming along fairly well, but don't ask about spinach or lettuce, or even cucumbers... I know I planted some, but they are nowhere to be found!
Looks like a garden shop with all those flowers! Super pretty.
Oh they look so lovely. If only you could see how pathetic my gardneing skills are. I'm envious!
