Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch

The Bag Lady and the Rancher have been doing a little work on the place. They built a new gate in the corral to make it easier to move cattle around. They don't seem to work quite as fast as they used to - what should have taken half a day to do ended up being a full day's job.

Here is the newest addition to the ranch:

The Bag Lady is off to town today, taking Uncle to an appointment, so talk amongst yourselves!

Babies! I love babies. :)

The good news is, you & The Rancher can still work together. It gives me hope that I'll still like my husband when he retires.

That's quite a new calf. I know how work slows down. It's not us; time has sped up.

Rupal - thanks! Our weather has improved markedly over the past week. My back seems to be holding it's own - at least, it's still holding me up! :)

Miz - she hasn't been named.... suggestions?

kcinnova - I'm sure you'll still like your hubby when he retires. Really.

dfLeah - thanks! I knew it couldn't be us.

I think it's great you can work together to do things on the farm...
How many calves are still to come?

the Bag Lady said...

Geo - we are almost half done. Seems very slow this year.

Bag Lady- ok, this is getting freaky. I logged into my blog, saw your comment, responded with my comment & then hopped over here to see that we had used the same response to each other!!! Are we related in another life or something?!?

Aw! The cow has that "don't come closer to my baby" look!

Being Mooish is a good thing! :-)

We need a cow naming theme.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. (that sounds so serious but it's true).

Cute calf! I think Leah has it right, it must be time going faster.

Emily - LOL!

Missicat - most of our cows have that look when their baby is that young!

Marianne - get to work on that, would ya? :)

POD - thank you so much! And the news was good, so we are all much relieved.

Reb - thanks. I like to think that, too - it couldn't be that I'm slowing down!
