Happy Valentine's Day

The Bag Lady has been having a little trouble getting her posts up early in the morning like she usually does. This is a combination of her innate laziness, her cowboy being home this week and her complete inability to think of anything interesting to post!

She will think really, really hard today and hopefully come up with something incredibly fascinating for you tomorrow. In the meantime, she hopes you all have a great day, and will leave you with this:

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy animals...isn't spoiling them so much fun?

I'm still on the fence about kids cuz I love my 4 legged beasts so much ; )

That is the only photo of all of them together...they hadn't sorted out the "pecking order" yet!

Awwwww...hope your puppy realizes that cats are ALWAYS at the top of the pecking order! :-)

So cute!!

Missicat - the oldest cat (grey & white) seems to be the lowest on the totem pole now! He's got the Marlene Dietrich thing going (I just vant to be left alone...)
The dog and the other cat were raised together, so they get along fairly well.
Sarah - they are too cute, aren't they?

So do they share the bed with you two or do you get the couch? :)
All I could think of is when my friend, who has a boxer, got married and her husband had to fight the dog for the other side of the bed!
I often play "whose pillow is it *really*" with my cats. They're winning...

Lately, the older cat has decided he should sleep on the bed with me.

On my head.

The other cat sleeps at my feet.

The dog slept with me quite a bit when she was younger (especially when the cowboy was working away), but seems to have out-grown that now.

Funny story - when sister Reb was going through her cancer treatments and I was spending time with her, the cowboy went to go to bed one night and the dog was on his side of the bed (where she slept when she slept with me). He tried to get her to move over and she growled at him, so he went and slept in the spare room!!
Talk about spoiled...

Looks like love to me!

If Dan or I go home at a "non-standard" time (according to the critters) we'll often find the pets napping side by side on the bed. The cat will immediatly get a look of horror on his face (OMG! I've been caught snuggling with a rabbit!!!) and run away. But it's pretty darn cute while it lasts!

Happy Valentine's Day!

The secret lives of our pets! The younger cat will snuggle with either the older cat or the dog - when they allow it! When we got his as a kitten, we also had his sister, and they snuggled constantly. Unfortunately, his sister disappeared one day, so he has to sneak his snuggling where he can!
That's too funny about your cat being horrified at being found out! Doesn't want it known he's been bunny snuggling!

Tell us some stories about your furry kiddos!

SB - I shall, I shall. Will have to do some serious consulting with the critters and get their permission to tell their tails. Oops, tales.
