That snow is approximately three feet deep.
It will be a little while until the Bag Lady's garden looks like this again...
But when it does, all that snow should soak in and provide some moisture!
She can hardly wait!

Yay moisture! That's quite a pile of snow you've got. I hope the melt is slow enough to let it soak in, but fast enough it doesn't try your patience.

I was out in my yard yesterday and there are bare patches of ground (and little green things poking up in the garden!) but the ground is definitely wet. We had a beautiful weekend here on the east coast though; hope you start to get the warm weather soon!
Oh Baggie, that's a lot of snow. Hurry spring!
All I can say is "wow"! I can't imagine there ever being a garden again under all of that snow.
As long as there isn't any wind to dry it out before it has a chance to soak in, you'll be fine. Good luck with that ;)
Hoping spring comes soon.
I don't have that much rain on my garden space--being rain, it ran off. But I have lots of lovely mud. Definitely too wet to plow, and just barely too thick to drink. Broccoli plants should be in the ground before April. This is the middle of March, and the forecast is for rain all week long on my already soggy ground. This does not bode well.
Hoping your snow melts in a timely and gentle fashion and leaves your garden in good shape.

Hope the sunny weather is heading your way soon. Will try to stop hogging it all.
Nothing has burst into bloom here yet, but I can tell it's just waiting for the right moment... maybe this Friday when the temperatures are supposed to reach 70 degrees.
Obviously, I'm having trouble conceptualizing 3 feet of snow. But I am glad you have plenty of wonderful moisture to make your garden grow!
The first day of spring is almost here, Bag Lady! The moisture will be welcome, but, I think it will be a while before the garden looks that green again. I'm looking forward to spring green growth, and spring run-off photos!
