She zipped to Edmonton on the weekend to attend a birthday party for her uncle. He turned 90 on St Patrick's Day. It was a lovely party, and she enjoyed seeing some of her cousins and relatives that she hadn't seen for ages.
The ranch is still deep in the grasp of winter, regardless of whether the calendar says it's spring. In fact, it snowed again on the weekend (which made her drive home verrrrrrry interesting) and dumped another 6 inches or so on the ranch. She finally broke down and used the snow for something good.....

He was quite boisterous and didn't want to stand still to have his picture taken, so out of the 4 pictures the Bag Lady took, this was the best.Oh, except for when he was trying to decide if the Bag Lady was friend or foe, and stopped long enough to peek through the boards of the stall.....

Mmmm...that snow cone looks very good. J got a snoopy snow cone maker as a gag gift at christmas and we've been thinking about making "adult" snow cones. I'll add that one to our list :)

Awww you shouldn't make me fall in love with these little critters. I know where they're headed eventually. I'll just have to drown (or should I say drizzle) my sorrows in a snow cone - Baggie-style. Looks yummy! That last pic is really adorable.

Cheryl - absolutely! We had tons of fresh snow (again!) so I just packed it into a glass, turned it over into a dish and poured Irish Cream over it. YUM!
