Photo Finish Friday - Bison

The weather in the Bag Lady's neck of the woods has been decidedly wintery lately, which has made her pine for the long, warm days of summer. She searched through her photos and realized that she hadn't shared this picture with you.

She and the Rancher took a drive one balmy evening last summer, and spied this herd of buffalo, complete with suckling calves.

The Bag Lady feels better just looking at the greenery and sunshine in this picture!

So good to roam with the buffalo.
Thanks for the summer pic. I see we had similar longings.

Isn't it nice to be able to look back at pictures to remind you that summer isn't just a myth?

Thanks for this one, it is precious to see the babies.

I haven't even thought about a photo for today yet. Nice shot, it is so green and warm looking.

I too am dreaming of warmer weather! But it is perfect weather for snuggling and lattes. Mmmmm snuggling. :)

I am sitting in front of the stove with my feet actually stuck under it, with a laptop warming my lap. (Isn't that why they make them?) I appreciate that glimpse of summer all the more.

Wow, that looks warm and sweet and inviting (must be the suckling calves)... and so pleasing to the eye after looking out the window at cold white.

Okay, now I have to check your profile and see where the heck you are that you are happening upon bison.

You're posting WAY faster than I can keep up!! The good news is that whenever I can read several posts in a row, it's like settling down with a good book!

I love this photo! Those bison are very cool. Thanks for bringing a little summer to this very cold winter!
