Quick Update Again!

It appears as though the Bag Lady purchased her laptop just in time. Her other computer seems to be in a bit of a snit now, so perhaps it is jealous....

She and the Rancher had quite a busy weekend, which didn't leave her a lot of time to compose a blog post, so this will be just a quick update on the fly. She has to go to her job in town today.

She has been working on all the paperwork she needs to have before she can start accessioning for the museum. There are a lot of forms she needs to make and she doesn't want to forget anything. She wants to make sure she has everything organized and in order before she takes in a single item for display.

But right now she needs to dash off to work

For as busy as the museum is making you, it sounds like you are enjoying it.

Yes, cousin - I am quite enjoying this part, and really looking forward to the actual accessioning and making up displays, etc!!

I once had a toaster oven give up the ghost the very day my Sweetie brought a good used one home "just in case." I'm convinced it committed suicide from jealousy.

Enjoy your work!

It sounds like you are really enjoying this new job.
Hooray for your new computer, just in time!

Well, that is good timing. I would give the computer a bit of love though and tell it that you still need and respect it ;)

Glad you are happy at the museum.

ooh - you get to set up displays?
WOw -I would really enjoy that part of the job. You'll definitely have to post photos of them (can you take ophotos in your museum?)

At this time of year having a nice warm laptop on your lap would make anything jealous! Cats, especially.

messymimi - I can't count the number of times that has happened around here! How do these appliances know?!
:)
kcinnova - it's a lot of fun!

Reb - I will. Right after I give it a hard boot! :)

Geo - Yes, I get to set up displays, and help the museum acquire items to display - all kinds of fun! :)

Sagan - the new laptop is great - but it makes the games on facebook too tempting.... *ahem*.

Missicat - I will certainly try to take some pictures to post! And yes, I'm watching the Canadian women's hockey game against Finland right now!

Mary Anne in Kentucky - the laptop DID make the cats jealous... they both had to crawl all over me to see what was going on! :)

Hey, you *could* have written a blog post instead of chatting on Friday night OR you could have blogged during that hockey game.

POD - But... but... the chatting was so much fun!!! :)

Sounds like only a job that the Bag Lady could take on and do excellently well at. I'm amazed at how many different occupations you have. I know that I would only feel boggled. The museum is so lucky to have you as their curator! I can only imagine work and research that it would take to make those displays, but, with your creativity and mindset, I'm looking forward to seeing all of them at the opening! Go, go, go, Bag Lady!
