Monday Morning

This is just a short little post to let you know the Bag Lady survived Christmas! She hopes everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Hers was great; filled with food, family and fun.

She is still a little tired from all the festivities, and has been working on the dress for her niece. She is hoping to have some pictures to share with you a little later on today.

The weather has warmed up slightly, for which the Bag Lady is grateful. The Rancher had a few days off over the Christmas holidays, so he has been doing the chores. Now that he's back to work, the Bag Lady has to take over, and she's glad it isn't as cold as it was! She also really hopes that the temperature doesn't drop back down as low as it was. Minus 40 is just too darned cold!
It is much more tolerable now, only in the minus 20's (Celsius). Of course, the Bag Lady doesn't really like it too cold (or too hot either, for that matter.... must be a Goldilocks thing!)

How was your holiday?

Glad you survived. Hope it stays tolerable out for you. While I don't care to be out in -40C either, I find if I have errands I'd rather do them then as there are less people around.

Ah, yes, running errands when there are fewer folks around is certainly desirable, but minus 40 puts me in the "stay home" category!

df Bag Lady,

I'm so glad you had a nice Christmas and I am glad it got a bit warmer for you.

The winter solstice is past! Spring is on it's way!

Glad it warmed up a bit for you BL. We had enough snow to make the holiday lovely and then it warmed up, melted, got cold again and all that water turned to ice. Good times. But you know, it's winter. It is what it is. Here's to a mild 09 for you! :)

Did I survive? We won't know until I Finish Moving. But I'm sleeping in my own bed now, Goldilocks, so there!

dfTerrie - I like the way you think!! Only 5 more months of winter.... :)

Lucas - it's nice that you had a little snow for Christmas, but that thawing and freezing again is awful! Hope you have a great '09, too!

Missicat - Good for you for getting things done! Wish I could say the same.

Mary Anne - there is definitely something to be said for sleeping in your own bed! Hope you get finished moving soon.
