Poor Tree!

This is how that lovely crabapple tree looked this morning! An unseasonal snowstorm went through yesterday and deposited a heavy load onto the poor tree.

With any luck, the temperatures will return to normal today and the tree will recover quickly.

Oh, dear. I hope it bounces back quickly.

I do, too, cousin!

Gracious! Some parts of Canada are sweltering, and there is snow? The weather needs to make up its mind, for the trees' sake.

It looks depressed. [channeling Hilary]

So if it did usually bear fruit, it wouldn't this time!

Oh my!
I honestly can't imagine snow (we're going back up to sweltering temperatures again this week) but clearly you had snow. SNOW! In JUNE!!

Aw! It looked so pretty in the sun! Hope that white stuff disappeared right quick.

messymimi - it's been weird weather everywhere, hasn't it?

Mary Anne in Kentucky - I think it was depressed, but it doesn't seem to have suffered any ill effects.

kcinnova - the day before it snowed was absolutely gorgeous.... and today is nice, too. It was an aberration.

JavaChick - it seems fine now - perked right up after the snow melted!

Geesh, I'd be crabby too if all that snow was dumped on me in JUNE! That's all sorts of wrong.

Hilary - I've written a complaint letter, but with Canada Post striking, I'm not at all sure it'll get there (wherever "there" is....)
