The Bag Lady participated in a trade show last evening. It was bitterly cold, so the attendance was low, but it was fun regardless. She entered her name in a draw at one of the booths, and was pleasantly surprised when she won! She is absolutely positive that a lighted cocktail glass will come in extremely handy some night. It has three settings - constant, pulsating and disco! She can hardly wait for the weather to warm up and the snow to melt so she can party 'round the campfire. She will, of course, also serve guacamole dip, made with her other free prize!

And did I mention the cocktail glass was full of candy kisses, along with the Scentsy air freshener and little rubber spatula for scooping wax out of the warmer!
Good, sensible gifts. Glad you won them. Would love to see the glass on disco.
Leah - it's a hoot! Of course, one would have to be careful about that setting when one had been imbibing too much - it might cause unprovoked dancing with total abandonment on unstable surfaces normally used for the placement of food and refreshments.
I would think drinking out of a glass with pulsating lights would lead to a date with the porcelain throne, but that's just me.
What's the other prize? Is it some sort of guacamole add-in? I'm intrigued.
BG - yes, I agree with you about the pulsating lights - would probably make me dizzy, at the very least!
Yes, the other prize is a jar of "Guacamole Dip Mix" from Victorian Epicure..... delicious! (The flashy lighted cocktail glass grabbed the spotlight from the less flashy, but tasty guacamole!)
Handy for when you're drinking cocktails in the dark and you've had one too many. Ha!!
Great prizes.
Habe a great weekend BL!
David - it certainly will come in handy, and I plan to try it out, as soon as it's warm enough to go outside and drink around the firepit! Hope your weekend is great, too!
Looks like fun awaits! Do you think the guacamole will last until spring, or will it have run out by then ;)
Reb - pretty sure I can make it last 'til then - it's a fair-sized jar! :)
Disco cocktails?
FANTASTIC :)
What a fun set of prizes! Enjoy.
You have only one lighted cocktail glass. I keep envisioning a--choir?--of them, being raised and lowered in patterns. How easy is it to switch from one speed to another? We may have a new art form here!
Mary Anne in Kentucky
Geo - I KNOW!! The whole of blogdom should be jealous!! :)
messymimi - thanks!
Mary Anne in Kentucky - I really need to ask the woman who supplied the doorprize where she got the glass.... it's just too cute.
There's a button on the bottom that turns the light on - you just keep pushing it for different speeds. Perhaps not that easy when the glass is full (or the button-pusher is full...)
So when is this party at the campfire and how long will it take me to get there? :)
Ah you never fail to make me smile Bag Lady!!! :) Sorry my commenting has been non-existent for a while now. I'm just getting my groove back! I have been reading faithfully though.
Congrats on your win! The lighted cocktail glass is a hoot.
Happy weekend, jj
To hell with the glass. They should invent a lighted bottle.
Somewhere I have a plastic ice cube that lights up; brought it home from Disney World. Fun stuff!
Well, that was quite a sexy prize, wasn't it? Ahem...what were you trading, if I might ask?
