Home Is the Wanderer

The Bag Lady and the Rancher are home from their travels. They enjoyed themselves immensely and are tired. Very tired.

The Bag Lady has to go back to work today, so this will be a short little post. She and the Rancher put on a lot of miles during their vacation, and saw a lot of country. A lot of rainy mountains, streams, clouds, trees, rain, more mountains, more rain, more clouds, more trees, lakes, rivers, hills, fields of corn, wheat and assorted grains, and some sun. Did she mention rain?

She took about a gazillion pictures, and will share some of them with you when she has sorted through them. In the meantime, here is the entrance into Radium Hot Springs, which is in British Columbia. (Did she mention rain?)

Glad you're home. Too bad about the rain. I've always loved the sign announcing Radium.

Mary Anne in Kentucky - it was hiding out in the mountains of BC and followed us to Idaho!

dfLeah - thanks - it's good to be home. I had forgotten about the sign at Radium, it had been such a long time since I'd been there! I love how the road snakes between the rock cliffs.

Ah, the mountains. That fresh cold (rainy) air can't be found anywhere else. Glad you had a good trip.

Rain has finally found us here and we are grateful. Darn drought.
Glad you had a vacation and looking forward to the pictures, at your convenience of course!

Great to hear that you had a good time, Bag Lady! I'll bet your camera was almost full when you were done. We would have loved to have followed along. Welcome back!

Geo - we stayed 3 days in Radium - toured around a little, sat in the hot springs and loved it!

Reb - that's so true - it was fresh, cool and damp, but wonderful.

kcinnova - rain feels good after a dry summer, doesn't it?

Redbush - we took tons of pictures - I just have to sort them out! Wish you could have come along!

Janell - it was a wee bit damp at times!

If I didn't know better, I'd say you wandered into Washington state. There's a fair amount of rain, there, too, y'know. It's really pretty, though...even through the rain!

Rest up good and then flood us with photos!

What I meant was...your PHOTOS are really pretty even through the rain.
