Another Calf

Just a quick post to share the latest picture of our newest calf:

And a picture of the sun coming up yesterday morning (I was trying to capture the mist that was hovering on the horizon..... but didn't. Sigh)

And to point out to you that if you don't already read the hilarity that is POD, click here now and go read all about her latest adventure. I promise it will have you laughing (and perhaps wincing just a wee bit....)

Pic of the sun came out fine just the same and the new calf looks quite endearing.

Adorable calf and I wouldn't want to mess with mama!
I like how the sun looks like it has fingers reaching down.
I'd never read POD before, but she definitely cracked me up (even if I am scared of wax in anything but candle form).

Thanks, David. Sometimes it's surprising what the cmaera will capture.

Carla - POD's post brought tears to my eyes.... both literally and figuratively (ouch).

Mary Anne in Kentucky - thanks!

kcinnova - thanks. POD really has a way with words!

Cute calf! What is momma doing? She looks sooo huge compared to the tiny babe.

I don't think I will ever tire of looking at pictures of newborn calves. Too cute!

Missicat - she is still washing her baby - the calf wasn't very old when this picture was taken.

Sagan - thanks - as long as we have calves, I'll keep posting pictures of them, 'cause I can't resist taking photos of their cuteness!

Hey, the nose hair wax lady did not shove wax up to my cranium but just the outer hairy edges. LOL

My nose still hurts. Plus I've had a cold for weeks. Maybe I should have let the hairs grow over the holes?

Love the baby!

Beautiful baby and a very attentive mama.

Love the sunrise, mist or no mist.

What a cutie. It looks like Mama is giving it a little nudge.

Love the pic of the calf as always.

Now - about that enticement to look at another blog. Don't you know I am trying to work. I don't need any more blogs to visit. Visiting blogs is unproductive time when I am know to chortle and chuckle - and when did chortling and chuckling ever bring in any money?

So I resisted and simply popped in here to the comments. And then I see Carla mentions nosehair!

Someone has a post on nosehair! This I've got to see.

So if we end up pennyless this winter, Baggie, it will all be your fault for tempting me to read new blogs. Shame on you!

POD - life is all about new experiences. That said, the nose hair waxing is one experience I am willing to let pass me by!

messymimi - thanks! And thank you for always being so kind in your comments!

Hilary - she may have had a nudge in mind - a second or two after I clicked the camera, out came her big tongue to take a swipe at a bit she missed during the initial clean-up!

Dawn - now I feel guilty! I promise not to send you to any more funny blogs. And I will work very hard at making my own posts sober and serious. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Cute, cute calf and that's a very pretty sunrise. Now I'm off to catch up with POD. Be back, later.
