Happy Hump Day!

The Bag Lady had yet another busy day yesterday. She had to run to town for parts, then had to fix the waterer at her mother-in-law's place. She did accomplish all she set out to do, except was too tired to write a blog post last night!

She has fewer goals today, but never really knows what the day will bring. In the meantime, here's a photo for you to ponder:

I hope you have a much easier day today. Is kitty guarding the weigh scale?

dfLeah - thanks, I hope so, too!
Just seconds before I snapped the photo, he was staring down at the display area! It looked so darn funny....

After yesterday's exhausting trials and tribulations, kitty wants to know how much weight it lost while supervising.

It has a cat on it--therefore it must be a pedestal.

Our cat could use a little look-see at the scale too! But since we don't even know where it is anymore, she gets to be in the dark just like we are.

Hope it's a great hump day!

Clare - you could be right! He was definitely unhappy about the fact that his "warm furniture" wasn't available on demand!

Mary Anne - too true! LOL

Crabby - perhaps I need to hide mine, too; especially as I don't really like what it's been telling me lately!

Love the cat pic. I just took some pics of our new puppy with our chihuahua and hope to post soon! Vee at www.veegettinghealthy.blogspot.com

Thanks, Vee - I'll slip over later and have a look at your new pup!

Kitty! He's a pretty one. Mine will sit on the scale sometimes too. Basically they will sit on anything that is on floor. If it's there, it must be sat upon.

the Bag Lady said...

JavaChick - Our older cat feels compelled to scratch on any box left sitting on the floor. The younger guy has to get into anything left on the floor - boxes, bags, etc. Helps remind me to tidy up! :)

If it's on the floor, a cat will sit on it. Trust me.
Was kitty shocked at her weight?

heres hoping you can catch your breath today---between weaving seatbelt bags I mean!

the Bag Lady said...

Missicat - if Fuzzy was shocked, he kept it to himself...although he did look a little indignant when he strolled away from the scale! :)

Miz - I, too, am hoping for a slightly more laid-back day today! Need to start scavenging old cars for seatbelts.... :)

I'm glad kitty is ignoring the scale. Shouldn't we all? ;)

And Bag Lady, is Miz right? Do you make seatbelt purses? Because I LOVE THOSE. Wow!

the Bag Lady said...

Marste - yes, we should all ignore the scale! (I'm working on that...)

And I have not yet made a seatbelt purse - Miz has one and mentioned it in her blog post recently, so I thought I might try making one. First have to find a source for seatbelts, though. Might have to rob some from the dead cars at the local dump!

That's so cute! My mums cat has moved in with me while she's off traveling and I'm having so much fun watching the things she does (cat, that is, not mother). She hasn't started playing with my stability ball yet but its only a matter of time... hehe.

That is too cute...Sibu does that too.

Here's hoping today is much better.

the Bag Lady said...

Annette - kitty could stand to watch what he puts in his mouth! Both cats have a serious addiction to Temptation treats!

Sagan - having a cat in the house is always fun! Mine don't seem to have any interest in my stability ball - could be they have an aversion to exercise!! :)

Reb - that's the first time Fuzzy has done the scale-sitting (in my presence, anyway) - it wasn't turned on, though, so he doesn't really have any idea how much he weighs!

Can you get him to bat at the little needle when it goes back and forth??
Hope today is less busy for you :)

Is kitty on the scale? My cat Stuart (he of the huge head) likes to sit on the scale. I wonder if he has body image issues, as he is rather large. Or maybe he's trying to bulk up so he can beat up on the other cat.

the Bag Lady said...

Geo - it's an electronic scale, unfortunately. I should dig out the old one and see what he does with the needle!! Might be amusing...

Gena - Oh, dear - I hope that isn't what's going on with Fuzzy - the bulking up to beat up on the old guy....!!

Ann (bunnygirl) said...

So how much does Kitty weigh? And is that before or after scarfing her morning Iams?

the Bag Lady said...

BG - it is an electronic scale and wasn't turned on!! I'm not sure he wants to know how much he weighs - it might send him spiraling into a depression. On the other hand, why should I be the only one who is depressed about my weight!? :)

I think Fuzzy is pondering the weight thing and wonders why everyone else is . How cute! Doesn't it make you wonder what he is thinkilng. Like, those humans, why do they worry so much about their weight - I don't.

the Bag Lady said...

Maybe we should take a page from his book!

HA! How cute is that photo? It's almost like she's too afraid to look--"Ok, lay it on me easy now!" haha!

Have a great day & thanks for sharing!

I was going to ask if your cat was a boy or a girl, but I see the answer in the above comments.
Which also answers the riddle of why the cat allowed his picture to be taken on the scale. A female wouldn't be caught dead photographed on a scale!

I hope your Wednesday was at least a little bit relaxing.

Is kitty upset cause she gained weight?

the Bag Lady said...

Rupal - that's too funny! I was so disappointed that he moved his head just before I took the picture (he had been staring down at the display area) that I never thought it looked like he was afraid to look!!

kcinnova - definitely a male, and no fear of the scale!

Tricia - not that guy! I think he's trying to gain enough to outweigh the dog, actually....:)

Does he hiss, spit and curse when he sees his weight just like I do?

the Bag Lady said...

Hilary - well, he looked at the scale for a long time.... then just walked away with his head and tail held high... maybe we should take a page from his book?
