Hilary - I'm not sure if it is the same bunny that I keep seeing, and I'm not sure if it's all that smart, because it darted out in front of me the other day and I almost nailed him! Fortunately I was on the look-out for him/her!
Gail - this is the first year in a long time that there have been lots of bunny sightings!
I saw it immediately! What do I win?? The Nameless Man and I were quite surprised to see a bunny running across the street in front of our condo a couple of weeks ago. We almost live in downtown Calgary for heaven's sake...
I'm glad he had sense enough to stay in the shadow of the trees. I don't think I've seen a single rabbit since I moved here--but I've seen lots and lots of hawks.
BG - hubby said that wild rabbits were very abundant around these parts when he was a child - they used to catch the babies and make pets out of them. Haven't seen any for years, so it's nice to spot them periodically.
Sparrow - my sister in Edmonton has bunnies living right beside her apartment building. And my friend in Calgary says they are abundant there. Apparently, they are only scarce out here in the country!
Carla - glad to hear the Tornado has good eyes!
Mazy Anne in Kentucky - we have lots of hawks, and lots of coyotes, too. I just hope there are lots of mice.....
We get squirrels, coons, possums, snakes, turtles, and the occasional rat wandering up from the creek, but the only rabbits tend to be pets that escaped -- or were dumped :(.
Missicat - oops, don't have a prize! Guess you'll just have to take pride in the fact that you see him!
messymimi - we don't have half of those critters you have - there are no rats, or coons, or possoms or turtles. We have little garter snakes occasionally, and squirrels. Lots of squirrels!

I think I've seen that little bunny bum before.. in my neck of the woods. At least yours have enough sense to run. :)
We have lots of bunnies that love to eat in Marcy's back yard.

I see it!
I've been keeping an eye on a wild bunny on the university campus that seems to have a favorite morning spot in the clover near the chapel.
Wild rabbits are fun.

Cutie! I haven't seen any bunnies yet this year. The squirrels are out roaming in abundance, though.

I'm pretty sure it's the same one my husband and 2 boys chased away from the garden last week.
kcinnova - oh, dear. If it is, he'll be happy where he is now, I hope!
I see his heels, but, very hard to spot! Very cute photo! Will there be a large amount of sightings this year, I wonder?
Redbush - I hope so! I'd like to see them come back in this area, at least a little.
