Drivel Dribble

The Bag Lady is a slacker today - she only has to go to one of her jobs! Which means she had the opportunity to sleep in today. Unfortunately, the last time the Bag Lady slept past 7:30 in the morning (except for that one time she was up until 4 am the night before *ahem*) was sometime in the late 1980's! She is an affirmed early bird. She just isn't sure what she should be doing with all these freakin' worms......

She will spend some time this morning trying to get caught up with blog buddies... err... housework and laundry, and maybe even get around to actually opening some of the bills that have been piling up on her desk. (Why do they insist on sending those, anyway? Although, if it wasn't for bills and junk mail, the Bag Lady would never have any postal-type mail at all!)

Have you figured out yet that she doesn't really have a lot to say today? She has a bunch of half-formed ideas for posts - most of which have popped into her head while she's been at work without access to a computer - but nothing that is worthy of your time. So she won't waste anymore of that for you right now!

Have a great day, and hopefully she'll come up with something really entertaining for you sometime soon. (Or she'll just continue to post her regular drivel that y'all are kind enough to read!)

you'll have to start carrying a note book, or a recorder :)

I am very fond of drivel in any form. This is perfect as usual.

Sleeping until 7:30 sounds like sleeping in to me too. I have no idea how I used to be able to sleep until noon. Seems like a waste to me now. :)

Reb - I should, I really should!

Miz - that's a good idea. Except someone else should run it, because the funniest stuff would involve me... I'm such a klutz!

POD - thanks! Of course, you're accustomed to my drivel, aren't you?

Scrumpy - I've had "issues" through the night - must have been something I ate - so I've been up since 5:30 am (after about 4 hours sleep). Sigh. So much for sleeping in!

SO nice to have some down time sometimes. I didn't used to be a morning person but kids have definitely made me that way. And I think I prefer it!

Your fellow early bird salutes you, and recommends that if you have an idea for a post away from a computer, jot the idea down on any handy piece of paper, and put it in your pocket.

Just be sure not to accidentally launder the papers (ask me how I know that).

Charlotte - early morning really is the best time of the day! At least, for me it is. Most days, that is. Somehow, not today, though.

messymimi - I'm really starting to wonder if we are twins, separated at birth! I have so done that kind of thing! :)

Well, I'll be sending you something shortly, and it's not a bill. Hopefully you won't consider it junk.

I'm not an early bird by nature, but I've found it easier to get through life behaving as if I were one.

BG - OOOOHHHHH..... I'm excited!! I'll be hanging around the new post office, driving the post mistress crazy! :)

Write the ideas down for later or get a laptop or Alpha Smart and write them in the quiet times, should there be any.

I slept until 7 this morning and then lounged in bed until nearly 7:30. Doesn't happen often. I feel like the day is over already.

Only one job today? You might be at loose ends by the end of day.

dfLeah - I have thought of getting some kind of laptop or smaller computer.... need to take some time one of these days to go looking around.
Maybe tomorrow. I don't have to work at either job, so will be a total slacker! :)

At least you have a job to go to? I'm still waiting on mine to start and getting so stir crazy....but my house stays cleaner than I've ever kept it.

Only one job today? Sheesh, you ARE a slacker! LOL

Gena - enjoy it! You'll be so well-organized at home that once you do start working, it will be a breeze to keep up with the housework! :)

kcinnova - I know! It's terrible, isn't it!!?? :)

I'm glad you have a bit of free time. Make sure there's relaxing in there with all the other worky type stuff :)

Geo - thanks - I've been relaxing a little this morning by catching up with some emails and blogs! It's great!

What to do with all those worms? Isn't it obvious? Pickle them!

(I have not been able to sleep past six-thirty a.m. in the past eight or nine years. No matter how little sleep I've had. This makes getting up at five-thirty on work days somewhat less horrible than it would be.)

Mary Anne in Kentucky - this morning I was up at 5:30 am, in spite of having been awake until 1:30 am! Sigh.
Damned internal alarm clock.

I was going to suggest Worm Martini's but Solarity beat me to it. Guess that's what happens when you sleep in. The early bird gets the punch line.

Sparrow - eeuuww - worm martinis?? That's enough to make me sleep in! :)
