She pickled some carrots and will write up a little tutorial for you, if you're interested. In the meantime, here is a picture of her almost completed project. She would like to add a pillow or two, but hasn't had time yet:
The Bag Lady is a firm believer in rescuing used furniture. She rescued this chair from the landfill a few years ago. It was natural colour (she thought she took a "before" picture, but can't seem to find it!), and had no cushions. She finally got around to painting it and had some foam leftovers from a previous project, so she made some cushions and set the chair on her deck. She knew the fabric was waterproof, which was a good thing because the weather broke while she and the Rancher were away on their little camping trip and the chair got rained on. The water just pooled on the fabric and she was able to pour it off!She will try now to get caught up with what everyone was doing while she was away!

It looks a neat and well-cared-for chair, and I wouldn't have known where it came from! I picked up a little wicker chair from a park... it had been abandoned there for some days so I finally took it home. We never did anything with it, but now you've got me wondering. :-) It's very small, though; probably meant for a child.

Hi, diddums! It's amazing what a coat of paint can do! If I had the chair you mentioned, I would probably paint it and use it to hold a flowering plant or as a place for books....

Thanks, Missicat - lots of things can be restored, reused, reconfigured - all it takes is a little imagination and elbow grease (and sometimes a big can of paint!)

Sagan - no tent. We have a really old motorhome. Almost like tenting, but without the tent.

Great looking chair! I had a broken zipper on my waterproof love seat cover. I meant to safety pin it together (since I can`t even thread a sewing machine, much less sew) but alas. Tikki got to it first.
Apparently, POD has been posting delcious foam recipes and he couldn`t help himself.

Wow, you're busy! I'd like to refinish furniture but am not sure I'll end up with a decent looking piece. You have quite a talent. Great looking chair.
We grow carrots, but I don't seem to grow enough to satisfy our little family - we eat them as soon as we pick them. My kid doesn't like them dried and I don't like them pickled or frozen or canned.
We are getting a lot of yellow squash and tomatoes. Yum!
