Another fine video. You always come up with the perfect song choices. I kind of wish that those calves weren't so cute. Or that I was a vegetarian. Or something.
Tricia - it was actually quite warm, considering it's January in northern Alberta! But we are apparently heading back into more normal temperatures soon. ~~sigh~~
Geo - she was having a great time! The snow WAS higher than her, but it has settled a little with the warm weather.
Aw, they were so patient waiting for the hay to fall--until they finally gave up on you! And yes, if they had opposable thumbs there'd be no stopping those two.
I'm glad Princess enjoys the snow. Stony says "It's cold! It's wet! I was bred for the desert, Ma!"
Mary Anne in Kentucky - the bull decided he needed to go check out a different female.... and I didn't have the bale down where he could reach it for a scratch! He will rub on the bale and move the whole loader! They are such powerful creatures! Princess doesn't really like the snow either, especially when it's cold out. That day was very mild, so she had lots of sniffing to do!
Once again another stellar post! I love the cow captions.
You may not have this childrens' program in Canada, US readers with small children probably do, but it reminded me of "Back at the Barnyard" which shows on Nickelodeon channel. When the farm lady is out of earshot, the animals talk amongst themselves and have great adventures. So cute and funny. I'll bet that's what your calves get up to once you've walked away.
Conny - no, we don't get that one, at least, not that I'm aware of, but I'm sure you're right - the little brats are probably always plotting what they can try next!! :)

I love the curious calves!
That was wonderful Sis. Love the stubborn twine! The Houdini calves are so cute.

Im with hilary on the song choices.
*mulls hiring BL to do her background music for facetime mondays*
Ha! Loved it! Note to self: spend a day on a ranch...be weary of Houdini calves, they seems mischievous :)
Did you put that together just for me, knowing how much I love cows? They're too cute!
Loved the doggy snow gauntlet! I need one of those, it would be a great lower body workout :0)
TA x
BG - they really wanted to know what I had in my hand! (and probably whether it was edible....)
Reb - thanks! The twine really gave me a hard time that day!
Hilary - thanks! I know what you mean about the calves being cute. It's something I've had to struggle with, too.
Miz - thanks! I would love to! :)
Rupal - they have opened that gate 3 times! I've never had calves able to open gates! Hence the extra ties.
Gena - so glad you liked it! (and yes, I did have you in mind. :))
TA - I think those trails were actually made by deer, but the Princess loves them! Of course, the workout comes in actually breaking the trails...
just wanna kiss that little nose!
Annette - cute, isn't it? :)
Oh man, it looks so cold there!
I'm really jealous of the doggie though.
That was great.
I loved the dog bounding through the snow...it looked higher than she was! :)

Love it! Especially the dog trail through the snow...
Thanks, Laura! And thanks for taking the time to comment.
The Princess definitely got her exercise that day.
Love the music selection! Such a nice little peek into the ranch life. Their noses were so cute.
Thanks, Sagan. Just another day on the ranch!
Fun song! Thanks for sharing :)
