Puss and the boots? He looks rather impatient there. Hoomin not doing his bidding?
Nobody was doing his bidding! I think he was a little pissed. A pissed puss.
Aw :)I still have a box fro a christmas gift in the living room for the same reason. It's become "the" place to sit for the cats :)
Geo - I left that box there a lot longer than I ordinarily would have, simply for that reason!
I guess I don't understand. Why didn't you close the lid on the cat and be done with it?
All cats love Boxing Day. I love Leah's Puss 'n' Boots comment.. perfect!
One pretty pissed pussy, blocked from bedding because of the boots :)
Janell - I guess because I didn't want to tempt fate - that old cat has lot a ton of weight, and doesn't seem to be in the best of health! I'm sure we'll be closing the box on him soon enough!Hilary - I should have let Leah write my blog post today! Reb - hahaha - good!
Wait - did you ever move the boots?? Have a heart! ;)
He reminds me of the children's book "My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes"."The cat from France liked to sing and dance. The cat from Spain flew an aeroplane. But my cat likes to hide in boxes."I still have my copy from all those years ago.
Marste - right about the time I went to move the boots, he hopped out of the box and stalked haughtily away. His human slave failed him AGAIN!messymimi - I don't think I've ever read that one! But my cat definitely likes to hide in boxes - he'd be terrified of planes, if his reaction to riding in a car is any indication.
Perhaps he's reminiscing about his youth, when he could have sat in the boots if he wanted.Mary Anne in Kentucky
Mary Anne in Kentucky - you could be right!
Nice shot, BL. He seems to like posing for tha camera!
Well, I got a laugh out of the comments! There's a whole lot of tongue in cheek going on in blogland. That is one cute kitty. Never met a kitty who didn't like a good box. Boxes are perfect kitty beds.By the way....cute shoes.
