Friday? What Happened to Thursday?

The Bag Lady is working evening shift now (well, okay, yesterday and today). She had a very strange evening last night - there must have been something in the air, causing all the 13 year old boys to act like..... well.... 13 year old boys! Sheesh! Hopefully they got it all out of their systems (or they will at least find somewhere else to hang out tonight) - the Bag Lady isn't sure she could handle another night like last night without losing the few shreds of sanity that she has left. Oh, alright, it wasn't that bad, but she had to be firm with a couple of little trouble makers. (And some of you may have deduced that the Bag Lady is pretty much a marshmallow most of the time.)

In other news, she did not do any cooking, so won't be sharing food pictures. (Stop that cheering in the back there.... yes, you!) To be perfectly honest, she hasn't done much of anything worth blogging about lately. (So why, you ask, is she bothering to blog? Well, it's because she loves her almost-daily visits with all of you, and wanted to say hi.)

Hi, everyone! Hope you all have a great weekend. Do something exciting, 'kay? Then blog about it so the Bag Lady can live vicariously through you. Or at the very least, make up something totally outrageous and put it in the Bag Lady's comment section so she can have a giggle!

I can send you a 13 year old boy to practice on... LOL.

Carla - have fun!!! *waves frantically*

M - somehow, I don't think he'd give me any trouble at all..... since he wasn't raised by wolves, or whatever those boys last night were raised by! :)

I'm going to Indianapolis this weekend to have an elicit affair with Peyton Manning. Don't be too jealous.

Scrumpy - you GO, girl! :) (love your new avatar, BTW) Thanks for the giggle... oh, wait.... you weren't serious, were you?! :)

Hi Bag Lady! I'm glad you decided to say hi.

Excitement...It's supposed to get to 13 degrees today! And rain. But still, 13 degrees! The forecast high for tomorrow is 11 and it's supposed to be sunny so I think my excitement - after grocery shopping - might be finally finishing the fall yard cleanup. I need to bring in the few garden ornaments that I actually bothered to put out for the rainy summer, and bring in my pots & containers.

Are you excited yet?

JavaChick - well, I AM jealous!! We've had snow on the ground since the beginning of the month..... sigh. You weren't making those temperatures up, were you? Were you??

I take this assignment very seriously, dfBag Lady. I shall do my level best to find some excitement so I can tell you all about it.

Hi, BL! I must be a member of your club, because nothing very blogworthy is happening here, either.

I'm glad the little books finally arrived in your neck of the woods. I guess "regular" mail to Canada really is by pack mule, just as we speculated! I could've gotten them there quicker by riding my bike to Alberta, and then I could've had some of your pumpkin pie as a reward for my efforts.

Come to think of it, I think that will be my strategy next time I decide to send you something!

dfLeah - I know I can count on you to take this seriously! (and even if you don't find some excitement, you'll be really good at making up a story for me!) :)

BG - I was excited to receive your package! Thanks again. And now I'm trying desperately to think of something else I absolutely must have from you so you'll be forced to ride your bike here! (of course, we can wait until next spring so you don't have to ride it in the snow and cold.... teehee)

Wait, what? I missed something somewhere. What do you do that involves supervising 13-year-old boys?? Inquiring minds want to know!

Also, the "laughing" in the back wasn't me - you heard me SOBBING. Just to clarify. ;)

Adventure - isn't that something that people with lives have?

So, as soon as I finish the recording session with George Strait, I am off to film with Hugh Jackman. Sadly, it is a super secret project, so I can't divulge anything more than that.

Marste - I work as a customer care host at a community swimming pool/fitness centre. I sorta/kinda float around, making sure everything runs smoothly, that there is no trouble and that everyone enjoys their time there. These kids were annoying some (MOST) of the other patrons. Sigh.

Reb - *giggle* Thanks!

Well now I'm curious as to what exactly the boys were doing! Have a great weekend Bag Lady:)

You're giving us assignments now? Oh geesh.. performance anxiety...

Bag Lady - I definitely was not serious. I actually started thinking man... hopefully the ladies will know that was one of those made-up weekend activities the Bag Lady asked for.

I don't know about Adventure, but since my new, lived in for one year, house is in the House Tour in two weeks, the next several days will have a certain Franticness to them. I hung five pictures today, and four yesterday, and have lots of things to put away if I can't sort through them in time.

kcinnova - your 13 year old is probably an angel in comparison! :)

Charlotte - they were mostly just being 13 year olds! Involved lots of running, picking on girls, consuming massive quantities of sugar (the packets set out for coffee for the GROWN-UPS!!!!).... nothing really terrible. The kind of boys we are going to keep away from that precious little girl of yours! ;D

Geo - hope the weather holds for you so you can get that raking done! I didn't get half my outside work done due to the early snow! *sob*

Hilary - just take a picture - your pictures are worth a thousand words (or more!)

Scrumpy - I am SO disappointed!! I was sure we were all going to read about your torrid affair.... *giggle*

Mary Anne in Kentucky - that IS exciting! Getting your house all spiffed up for the House Tour! Will we see it in all kinds of magazines and coffee table books now?

*Amy waves* Hi Baggie! Ihave nothing to report other than the fact that you already suspected. I have no life.

the Bag Lady said...

Hi, Amy! Good to see you! And I don't believe you for a minute about not having a life!! :)

Quiet weekend here--going to a wedding of people I barely know; hope the food is good because otherwise it's a day of hanging out feeling awkward.

Wish there was something more interesting to report!

the Bag Lady said...

Crabby - I hope the food is good, too! And that you have a good time, and there is no awkwardness.

I am very pleased to report the Swedish doctors say my recent transgender reassignment went very well.
I will soon be able to prove or disprove the old maxim, "It's a man's world"

Oh, the lengths I will go to to disprove maxims. And Penthouse too.

the Bag Lady said...

Sparrow.... so, once you have proved or disproved the maxim, will you change back? :)
