Your roasted veggies look wonderful! We had such weird weather this year that we didn't much beyond some zucchini, squash and a few tomatoes. I'm envious!
I still can't believe how those peppers grow for you. Amazing! There's nothing like fresh produce especially when you know you've grown it yourself. I say "Double Yum!"
I`m not sure if my balcony can support much weight...so I don`t spend much time out there. Bah dum bum. Can I grow them in a lightweight medium other than soil? Or a mixture of some sort. Seriously, we're (the condo owners)suing the builder of this fine project for nearly 2 million in deficits.
Sparrow - oh, dear... yes, you can grow them in a mixture of soil and lightweight potting mix. Hell, you can grow potatoes in paper, and they are related, so as long as your tomatoes get some nutrients, you should be able to grow them in lightweight stuff!

It looks more than good.. it looks delicious. Your garden must be a fun place. :)
Yum. Roasted fresh veggies. Doesn't get any better than that!
*runs to get a plate*
why YES.
Yes it does.
Have a great Monday!
Once more, I envy you your green thumb, your cooking talents, and your ability to put pictures with your posts!
I salute you as a person I would love to have as a neighbor and friend. Too bad we live at opposite ends of the continent.
Good thing I saw that picture only an hour after breakfast.
Now I'm even more sorry I missed the last fall planting date for lettuce and spinach.
Mary Anne in Kentucky
Hil - my cat definitely thinks so! Every time I go out there, he comes too, and tries to rub against my hand when I pick veggies! Silly cat.
Cheryl - They were really, really good! :)
Miz - Hope your Monday is going well, too!
Messymimi - why, thank you! That has made my morning! Perhaps one day we will meet! :)
Mary Anne in Kentucky - there's always next year, right?
Want.
dfLeah - c'mon up - we can make more!!
All looks good (except for the carrots - why cook an innocent carrot, I ask you)...
:)
Javachick - had room in the pan, I guess! :)
Mmmmm... fresh roasted veggies! :)
My dh is getting ready to plant the fall peas now that it is cooled down a bit.
Gorgeous!
where are the brussels sprouts? : )
kcinnova - so you can plant peas at this time of year in your neck of the woods? Cool!
Scrumpy - thanks! They were good.
Marianne - the brussels sprouts didn't grow, dammit! Could be because I didn't plant any.....
Yes. It does. Mmmmmm......
Any leftovers? *blink*

Looks awesome! Hey.... can you tell me how to grow tomatoes on my balcony?
I'll need a planter, right?
And some dirt?
What kind of seeds? Tomato?
I jest but I seriously want to try next spring.
You are the wind beneath my wings.
Geo - there's lots more where that came from! :)
Vee - hopefully next year will be better for your garden!
Sparrow - of course you can grow tomatoes on your balcony! I would buy them as bedding plants, though... it's easier than starting them from seed.

Redbush - I love knowing that I grew everything on the table! It's great.
