There is not a lot of snow in the Bag Lady's world..... yet. In fact, she took this picture a couple of weeks ago and the snow is now gone from the old plow.
She had a very busy and fun-filled Christmas season, and is now telling herself it's time to get back to normal. She still has a few decorations to take down and put away, but almost all traces of the
She hopes all of you have a wonderful year this year!

What a wonderful illustration of the passage of time.
Happy New Year to you, the Rancher, the pets, and the livestock.
We have no snow and all - it's 8 degrees today. I love it!
Happy New Year Bag Lady!
Thanks, cousin! Happy New Year.
JavaChick - we haven't much snow - mostly ice! But I'm not complaining!
Happy New Year to you, too!
Happy New Year!
What is normal? My biggest fears are that things will never get back to normal, that everything is back to normal and this is it, or that there is no normal.
messymimi - I know! It's difficult to figure out what really is normal, so I guess the best we can hope for is a life without a lot of upheaval!
Happy New Year.
Lovely photo Sis. If it weren't for the ice and the freezing wind, I would hardly know where I was ;)
There was snow today for the first time. (The weather service reported some in December, but I never saw any of that in my forty-mile commute.) It wasn't very much, but there was so much wind that driving was more like driving in fog. I was very glad to leave work in time to get home before dark.
Happy New Year! May you get enough snow to avoid drought, but not enough to make feeding difficult.

Reb - so true! I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, so to speak.
Mary Anne - Thank you for your wishes, and I hope that's all the snow you'll have to brave! Happy New Year.
Happy New Year, Bag Lady, and to the Rancher and all pets, especially Princess! What a gorgeous photo of the old plow! I love those types of photos!
I love that image -- and old-fashioned seats!
Our 40 degree days and lack of snow are beginning to worry me.
Isn't it so odd? It was +5 here on christmas day!
It's snowed a dusting since then but it still doesn't feel like winter yet...
Love that picture!
Strangely enough there is no snow in San Diego, but we're having a happy new year anyway.
Stay warm!
A cool image, Baggie.. and not just because of the snow. Happy New Year, my friend.
Gorgeous pic as always!! And Happy New Year to you too:)
Happy New Year!
Happy new year, BL! I'm not sure what all that white stuff in your picture is, though. It's 22C here today!
Hey Bag Lady-- Glad you have a break from the snow.
Happy, happy 2012!

Thanks, everyone! I have to confess, the mild temperatures are shortening the winter and I am loving it!
