Another Day, Another Sunrise!

(Yet more sunrise pictures. The Bag Lady does love her sunrises!)

These pictures were taken mere seconds apart - can you see the difference? (and yes, it's pretty obscure. Try clicking on them to enlarge.)

Can't see it? Here's a hint - he was singing like a mad thing.

The bird in the treetop changed position slightly.
What kind was it?

That is a gorgeous sunrise.

Thanks, ladyfi!

Leah - it was a pine grosbeak. I think it was just in the process of landing when I took the first photo. It was singing its little heart out by the second picture!

Great eye for detail - not sure I would have noticed that! Lovely to see your sunrise photos - not something I normally see in real life, since I'm usually asleep. :)

Yes, i was looking for a bird after reading your hint, he must have loved the sunrise as much as you.

It used to be i loved sunset better, but i've changed my mind in recent years.

JavaChick - if I hadn't heard him singing, I might not have noticed him, either!

messymimi - in these parts, at this time of year, you can fully enjoy both sunrise and sunset because they are only separated by a few hours! :)

Absolutely spectacular! I missed the bird. Now I see it! I wish the sunrise was a lot easier to see here. You have to get past the trees to see it, and that's way out.

Well, the only problem with this picture is that I didn't get to experience those colors in person!

I felt a little silly when I realized I shouldn't be looking for a wolf or coyote... very cool that you caught the bird!

I laughed when I got down to your hint, because the download paused slightly on both pictures when it got just below the bird, so my attention was drawn to him. The internet is on my side, for once!

Beautiful sunrise! No wonder the bird had to sing, what a great inspiration to start the day in a joyous mood.
