dfTerrie - do you mean they are coming up out of the ground now, or they are starting to bloom? Sheesh, there's nothing even poking out of the ground here yet (not that I've seen, anyway), but the pussy willows are out....
Tulips is my favoritest flower! Too bad they don't do well in Houston because of the heat. They have like a one-month growing period from February to March and that's it.
I love how the pink tulips look in that yellow bucket. I think you should have two yellow buckets of tulips with one turquoise bucket of freesia. It'll be a bouquet of Frulips.

Lovely. Very springesque.
Beautiful!
After working at a florist in high school I couldn't agree more. Tulips are pretty but don't have much smell. What about an arrangment with both??
Hope you have a good weekend on the ranch!
I HEART the tulips.
and I need to STOP WAITING (hint hint Renaissance Man) and just buy me some.
:)
M.
I love tulips! Have to drop hints to myself to buy them...:-)

dfLeah - thanks, the Bag Lady thought so, too!
Crabby - they are, aren't they?
Emily - the Bag Lady tried them together, but decided they looked better apart...but what does she know? Hope your weekend is great, too.
Mizfit - The Bag Lady just uses the Cowboy's money to buy them - then he takes the credit!!
Missicat - maybe you can send some to yourself from a secret admirer!!
Beautiful!
You asked yesterday if it is spring yet. Well, I guess so, because here in New York the daffodils are starting to open.

Pretty! Hard to believe tulips were once currency!
BG - were they? Very interesting!!
df Bag Lady,
The daffodils are starting tooopen. I can see a bit of yellow inside the buds.
Your day will come.

Lovely flowers Sis and I really like the pot the Tulips are in.
dfTerrie - can't come soon enough...I'm definitely ready to see a little greenery!
Reb - thanks. I like that pot, too!
Spring! We're in late summer here in New Zealand.
Loved the flowers. My garden is full of tired looking annuals and black spotty roses this time of year.

Dawn - I'll be sure to post photos of the new greenery when it starts popping up around here...
ewbl - I love tulips, too! And daffodils, and irises, and...all the spring flowers! Spring is my favourite season.
