Javachick posted a photo of her new boots and shoes for the Bag Lady, so the Bag Lady is showing off the last new pair of shoes she bought. She wore them to a wedding, and it was +30C that day. Her feet look a little stressed, but we're not sure if it's because of the heat, or the huge amount of weight those little feet are holding up! We're going to blame it on the heat...

df Bag Lady,
Simply gorgeous, darling!! I am so envious. Due to long ago broken ankle, backless shoes are no longer an option, but wow! those look great on you.
Terrie
dfTerrie - how sweet of you to say so! I was so excited to wear those shoes - I had been wearing orthotics for heel spurs for THREE years - those were the first shoes I wore that weren't sturdy and sensible!
Oh I love those! Very pretty.
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who gets excited about wearing nice shoes.
Actually dfBag Lady, I think your feet look rather happy.
Javachick - thanks! I love them, too. Unfortunately, they had rubbery soles, so weren't great for dancing, but other than that, they were surprisingly comfortable.
dfLeah - maybe they looked happy because they were finally free!
Very cute!
I'm a jeans & tennis shoe kinda gal myself.
So I just wrote a long comment on your amusing cell phone post and I got that annoying kind of blogger error that gives you a bunch of weird characters and wipes your comment off the face of the earth.
I HATE retyping comments so lets just say I like your shoes and hate cell phones.
what cute shoes!!! I thought ranchers had gross, frost bitten feet?!? See how sterotyping can get you in trouble : )
How cute!
Oh, Crabby, I can relate! I am having troubles with my word processing package so the new post I had planned isn't available.
I am ordinarily a jeans and sneakers type, too, but this was my step-daughter's wedding.
Emily - actually, it's our faces and hands that are gross and frost-bitten!!
SB - thanks!
Oh, I miss pretty shoes:-(
And you know how much I loved them! Those are very pretty Sis and your feet look lovely.
OK.. now I'd like to see the dress..
Thanks, Reb. I'm sure you do miss pretty shoes - I know I do.
Hilary, unfortunately, the dress was nowhere near as nice as the shoes. Don't know what I was thinking...it looked like a potato sack. A peach-colored potato sack.
Sigh.
Cute.
That reminds me that I have not had a pedicure in months. My tootsies would scare small children in shoes like that.
Hi, POM - ah, pedicures. The Bag Lady loves them, except that her feet are ultra-ticklish! She did her own pedicure for the wedding. She even added little sparkly diamonds to her toenails, but they don't show up well in this photo.
