HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Only four days left until Christmas, and the Bag Lady knows that some of you will be too busy to check back in here before then, so she wants to wish all of you the best of the season!
The Bag Lady is off to town today to do a little last minute shopping. She is taking her famous Spinach Salad to her sister-in-law’s for Christmas, so will pick up the ingredients for that, as well as a few more things. Hopefully, if she gets in and out of town early enough, it won’t be too busy!
She will be posting again before Christmas, so if you have time, pop on in. With any luck, she will have her sense of humour back soon - this business with Leah has been rather distressing, and the Bag Lady’s been doing a lot of worrying (her specialty!).
If you won’t have time to stop in, the Bag Lady hopes your Christmas, or Festivus, or whatever you celebrate, is all you want it to be!

Have a great Holiday! (I've got some more shopping to do myself so I can sympathize). And we'll help you by thinking good thoughts for Leah so you can worry less.

(easier said than done).

Thanks, Crabby! And thanks for the good thoughts. Leah can use them.

Merry Christmas, and Happy Anything Else you feel like celebrating!

Give my best wishes to Leah. Once she's home, send her to my holiday flash fiction carnival if she needs a little light reading to cheer her up!

Best to you and yours!

My big news is: I went to a supermarket that I don't usually frequent, but it was there and I was there--and so was my cartsmartbag, which lives in the trunk of my car.

So, the bag and I did a little shopping and when I checked out, the cashier gave me two cents off my bill because I brought my own bag! Very cool and very good for the planet.

dfTerrie - that IS very cool! Let's see now, if you get 2 cents off every time you use that bag, it'll pay for itself after about 1250 usages... Shop 'til you drop, girl!!
Actually, the Bag Lady did hear of a grocery store around here that is doing the same thing in an effort to encourage people to use less plastic. Sounds like a good idea!
