The Bag Lady has entered a contest, but needs help from her friends..... she entered one of her photos in a contest to win a laptop (yes, she knows she just bought one, but if she won another, she could donate it to the museum...... so, essentially, you would be helping out the museum if you went and voted for her picture!)
Click on the link and at least check out the photo!
Access Your Core from Intel
Oh, and just by voting? You, too, will have a chance to win a computer!!
(And, apparently, the Bag Lady has pulled up stakes and moved to Alaska. She heard it was nice there.)

I wondered about the AK.
Best of luck with the contest. That is a damned fine photo.
Thanks, cousin! I kinda like that photo, too!
Done and done! Hope you win! :)
Thanks, Crazylady! That's very kind of you!
Vote early and often -- yes, I did.
Voted! :)
So do I get this right, YOU could win AND I could win, too?
That would be awesome -- I've got a kid going off to college in the fall and he will need a laptop. :)
Thanks, messymimi - i appreciate it!
Kcinnova - yes, that's exactly right! You get entered to win a laptop every time you vote! Cool eh?
I voted for you! Love the pic you chose - such a sweet mama & baby! good luck!

Heading over now...
That is a lovely picture: the line of trees leading to the sun, the exact placement of the cow and calf where they balance everything. You're good.
I expect your town seceded from Canada and joined Alaska, like that county in Tennessee that seceded to join the Union in the Civil War. You just haven't heard because you're so busy.
Mary Anne in, er, Virginia, was it?
Charlotte - thanks! That picture is one of my personal favourites. Glad you like it!
Miz - I appreciate it!
David - thanks so much.
Mary Anne in ..er.. Virginia - (blush)thanks! It was a lucky shot!
I'm not sure if the whole town seceded - perhaps it was just this particular ranch.... :)
Perhaps it was the cows who voted to secede then. Perhaps they haven't heard how many bears there are in Alaska.
Mary Anne in Kentucky
LOL, Mary Anne - you might be right! Did I ever tell the story of the cows' reaction to the carcass of a bear that hubby's dad had to shoot many yeas ago? When it fell out of the tree, the cows literally stomped it to nothing! Scared the old fella back to the house!
Glad you are enjoying life in Alaska. :)
That is a lovely photo! Good luck!
JavaChick - it's really not all that different than it was at home.... :)
And thanks!
Voted! Even though Canada beat the US! We didn't make it easy for you though, did we?? :-)
That's a lovely photo! Have absolutely voted for you :)
Didn't know I could vote more than once...here I go ;)
Missicat - it was a pretty tense few minutes toward the end, wasn't it? And thanks for the vote! :)
Aw, thanks, Sagan - I appreciate it!
Reb - yes, you can vote once every day! :) Thanks!!
I voted! Now, do I get one of those little stickers to put on my shirt that says: I voted today, you should, too?
Great luck with this. Your picture is gorgeous.
Terrie
What a sweet photo, Bag Lady! You have my vote. Love mama and her baby, and the cool misty look to the caption! Good luck in winning!
dfTerrie - thanks!! I wish I had thought to have stickers made up - guess there are a few things I could learn from the politicians!
Redbush - thanks! I appreciate your kind words about my photo!
Voted! I was glad it wasn't closed yet, since I just read the post this morning. I love the picture, it reminds me so much of home.
Great photo! I voted for you, naturally. I'm in such a tizzy trying to get all caught up on your activities that I didn't really read the Access Your Core blurb but I have to say that just the phrase "Access Your Core" is a little disconcerting. However, I know you are a fine, upstanding person and am assuming that this is a fine, upstanding website! :-)
Cheryl - I certainly hope so! :)
And thanks for the vote!
