Thanks, Crabby. Glad you took the opportunity when it presented itself! :)
dfLeah - I'm not sure which is pissing me off more, the computer, or the weather! Oh, wait.... definitely the computer. (After all, who can be mad at the sun for shining?) :)
It's hot here too. Dry.. well, after this weekend's hail storms and tornadoes, only kinda. That's ok. We've been in a drought for so long that I welcome any amount of rain, even if it lasts only a few moments. Which it does. But I'll trade you a tornado for a day of dry weather, but then I want the rain back!
Sorry about Rancher's boss. I hope this isn't too insensitive, but I'm hoping it won't affect Rancher's job.
You are in our thoughts. Vee at www.veegettinghealthy.blogspot.com
Vee - we haven't had a tornado for a couple of years (knock on wood), and I hope we never see another one!
We aren't sure yet what impact his boss's death will have on the Rancher's job.... but there is a possibility that he won't have one (a job, that is). It has been an unsettling time.
We just had a silly amount of rain and now it's hot hot hot...hope the rain is heading your way to green things up a bit and cool it off...it did here quite nicely. I can't complain yet about the sun...it's only been really warm here for a day. I actually almost got sunburned yesterday. It's about time :)
Geo - we had cold and dry. Now we have hot and dry. There is rain in the forecast (sort of - depending on which forecast you believe), but it had better come soon, or we won't have a hay crop!
Sis, as we were driving yesterday, I wondered if you were faring any better there than the farms along 16. I guess the answer is no. How did that rain dance go again?
I'm with you, Bag Lady! Hot and dry it is, so, bring on the rain, or we'll soon be hauling water. OOOOh, that water word again. I think the weather is being a jerk! First the frost to kill my plants, then too hot and dry! Go figure!
It's hot and humid here, but no rain. No rain in the 10-day forecast, either. I'm looking forward to later in the summer when we'll start getting afternoon showers. The rain doesn't do much for outside temps, except to increase humidity, but the rain helps the a/c do it's job and lowers the electric bill a bit.
BG - I noticed your temperature the other day when I was watching the weather channel - and was grateful we don't get that kind of heat combined with the humidity you get. It would probably kill me!

Its hot here.
Its dry too.
Methinks I mightcould be acting like the jerk (according to the Toddler).
It SURE IS MONDAY!
Dry is better than 90% humidity...
I hate dry, hot, non computadora working Mondays! Best of luck.
Miz - I'm glad I'm not alone!
kcinnova - that is so true! Except that our pasture is slowly dying....and our hayfield is not producing.
David - Thanks! The computer is so annoying!
Sorry about the computer and the hayfield! (Not often I have occasion to use both those words in one sentence).
Miserable piece of ... equipment.
It's hot and dry here, too. Not really a consolation, is it?

It's not dry here. I'm afraid we've stolen your rain.
Mary Anne in Kentucky
Mary Anne - please give it back. Our hayfield is only about 3 inches high..... and crunches when we walk on it!

Not hot here yet. We don't get to see much of the sun any more since I swear we've swapped weather with Seattle.
Hope your day picks up BL

Thanks, Tom! Send some of that rain this way, would you?
Reb - it is very dry here. I'm afraid to do the rain dance because I might choke on the dust.

Oops - anonymous (Redbush, is that you?) - I missed you.... damned weather, killing your plants, then drying them out!
What about mosquitoes? Canker worms? Fun times!
Sagan - mosquitoes galore around here. And spiders. And I don't even want to think about what else.
Canker worms?
You guessed it, Bag Lady! My computer is being a real jerk too! Me thinks we need rain!
