(How could she say that about such a cute, innocent-looking pup?)She is suffering from 'blank brain', most probably due to her headache.

It's the center of a sunflower. The yellow things sort of protect the sunflower seeds from the birds.

Thanks, all - the headache is dissipating, with the aid of some good medication and sleep.
It looks to me like a bunch of singular flowers in little pots. That would be a whole lot of flowers! We all loves flowers.
