Edited Friday Edition

Those were the days my friend,

We thought they'd never end......
We'd sing and dance forever and a day.
We'd lead the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were YOUNG.....

and sure to have our way!

The Bag Lady and Reb circa 1986(?)

AND TODAY (at around noon MDST):

Haven't changed a bit, have they? (well, except they switched sides in this photo, just to confuse you.... and the hair isn't quite so big....and perhaps a wee bit lighter in colour.)

Aw! Lovely photo!

I would post one, but that would mean finding the scanner and hooking it up and finding a photo....So much work.

Your walk in the woods post is making me wish I was home in NS so I could go for a walk in the woods behind the house. Fall is my favourite time for that. Oh well.

What a great picture of both of you. I, on the other hand, happen to be the most unphotogenic person in the world. I want to play along and post an old picture but I don't want to offend anyone by how young (babish) I was in the 1980s. But everyone loves a cute kid, so y'all would forgive me right?!?

Awww, that's great. I was more about asymmetrical hair and bad perms and had these big red glasses...

Oh, my. Memories. I never went for the permed, sprayed and layered bit, but I really should scan some of my 80s pics. My senior year photos with me in my blunt-cut bob came out pretty good, as far as such things go. Maybe someday I'll take myself and a scanner out to my mom's house and get those pics digitized.

Don't have a scanner handy but it's very tempting to locate one...

LOVE the photos of the two of you, both past and present. Cute at any age!

Great pics! I'm not sure if it's fortunate or unfortunate that I was too young for most of the 80's.

Thanks, everyone, for your kind comments.
Busy times around here.....

Thank you all for being so very kind. I very much prefer my wash & wear hair now, to putting all that crap in it then!
