Come Go With Me.....

Well, the Bag Lady finally got the video put together. Hope you enjoy it!

Whew. Doesn't that look like fun?
(Oh, and the Bag Lady knows how to spell 'making'....she just ran out of room. Really.)

dfBag Lady - I loved it. Two thumbs up!
And your sunbather looked sooooo relaxed.

dfLeah - thanks! The Princess sleeps like that quite often, but it's difficult to get a picture!

loved it :) Love the "brrr" and taking away the chill but you had me rolling at the end with the falling cans! My dad sets up targets like that when we go visit in the country. They got our son a bb gun but I insist it stays there so people here in town don't complain of a first grader running about with a gun

Your camping looks like pure bliss!

new*me - the fellow who owned the air-pistol couldn't believe I managed to hit the can so many times.

Baggie, that was brilliant. You outdid yourself. You deserve a Blogademy Award!

the Bag Lady said...

Aw, Hilary...g'wan with ya - if anyone deserves a Blogademy award, it's you!
Thanks, though.

Fine! We'll walk the red carpet together. ;)

That looks like so much fun! I am fascinated by Hillbilly golf! What is it and how do you play? I'm dying to forward this on to Boy but I know he'll get so excited that he'll drag me off camping in the freezing cold if I do :0)

four thumbs up over here (although the Tornado just likes the potential for hurt beer cans).

I LOVE your videos & second hilary and the award.

may I accompany you on the red carpet?

I want to go camping! And chase away the chill! and nap in the sun! WAH!
Quite impressed with your shooting skillz!

that's a hoot!

I'd take that nap in the sun, too.

BL- *whew* I'm glad to hear that no full beer cans were hurt- that would just be wrong! Your camping excursion looked really relaxing. I hope you came back feeling refreshed. Oh yeah, what is the object of hillybilly golf? Are you aiming for a whole or just throwing the balls on strings?

the Bag Lady said...

Hilary - okay...and I promise to wear clothes that actually fit!

Reb - thanks! The Princess dog was using her Frisbee as a pillow. Silly dog.

TA - it was a lot of fun! Hillbilly Golf is also called Ladder Golf (among other things). The ladders (there is one beside me, one 30 feet away) have three rungs - the object is to hang the golf balls over the rungs on the ladder - points are scored depending on which rung the balls catch on. We were playing in teams, and the women won!!

Miz - you deserve a blogademy award all your own! Hell, we all do!

Missicat - you'll have to take a vacation and come to the wilds of Alberta. I'll teach you how to shoot (isn't DC all full of bad guys and stuff? At least, according to the movies...)

Linda - glad you enjoyed it! Maybe the Princess would share her Frisbee pillow....

Emily - we made sure to use empty beer cans - we're kinda soft-hearted that way..... :)
Google Ladder Golf to find instructions on playing the game and building one of your own. You won't be sorry - it's a total blast!!

Great video! I thought it all looked rather lovely. Although you DID crack me up with the portable toilet. Hey, it beats squatting anyway!

the Bag Lady said...

Tink - glad you liked it! Gotta love the portable potty - learned a new trick this time around, too - the styrofoam seat is nice and warm, no matter how cold the air is! Wish we had known that long ago!

Aw...I haven't played hillbilly golf in ages...my parent's friends have a set up at the lake.

That video is great! I am thinking of heading off camping this weekend...hope I have as much fun as it looks like you did :)

Geo - Hillbilly golf is a hoot, isn't it? And anyone can play, from the youngest to the oldest.
We played so much, I have to repair my poor ladders!!
Hope you get a chance to go camping! We did have a great time! Had to come home for a rest....

I think Hillbilly golf looks funner than real golf.

And I want to shoot as well as you do.

the Bag Lady said...

Tricia - Hillbilly Golf is wa-a-a-y more fun than real golf!! And I haven't shot a pistol for over 20 years, so I was as surprised as everyone else that I did so well! Of course, that air pistol doesn't have the kick-back that a real pistol has.....makes a big difference.

Then I want one for the INdoor toilet this winter!

df Bag Lady,

Fabulous! I loved it! And Come Go with me is one of my favorite oldies!! And Baggie Oakley is my favorite sharpshooter. If you ever decided to give up ranching (yeah, right) I am sure you could make it in Hollywood as a movie director, or at the very least a film editor!

Baggie Oakley, how awesome! Didn't know we had a sharpshooter in our midst.

And I must try hillbilly golf sometime, as I totally stink at the real kind.

What a great trip that looked to be, thanks for sharing it!

the Bag Lady said...

Mary Anne - I couldn't believe it myself, but it made a real difference!

dfTerrie - Thanks! I just love playing around with the video stuff! (Although I have to do quite a bit of editing because I'm not that great at the actual filming!)

Crabby - I suck at real golf, too!
And we had such a great time, we're probably going back there tonight! Our friends are still camped out....... and it looks like it's going to rain again!

Shoot, I still haven't watched your video (it's hard to do it here at work, where I do most of my blog-checking in my down time)! But I will.

But I wanted to highly recommend to you this new blog by my sister and her 10-year-old friend. They're researching wildlife in her back yard, and the pictures are amazing!

What a HOOT!!! Great sharpshooting!

(Now I'm inspired to make a video of some kind.)

Thanks, Melissa! Go for it - it's so much fun.
