The Bag Lady wanted to show you what it looked like here at midnight on the longest day of the year. Unfortunately, she couldn't stay awake long enough (give her a break - she's old!), so she took this picture at 11:30 (close enough, right?) She promptly lost it in her computer somewhere, and only just now found it.
Here is a picture of total and blissful relaxation:
The crazy cat has a crush on the boot-scraper - he sleeps with it all the time!
Now, the Bag Lady is a little hesitant about this next little video clip. Who wants to see the Bag Lady in action? Can we have a show of hands, please?
Hmmm, not much enthusiasm... perhaps she needs to save it for later.
Oh, what the hell....
(short, eh? The Bag Lady's mother-in-law got ahold of the Bag Lady's camera, and wasn't sure how to operate it...and also may have been afraid of what little treasures might come out of the Bag Lady's potty mouth at any second.... fixing fence does not bring out the Bag Lady's best side!!)

way too short.
it started
it was over
it was better than CATS.
I love that your cat has a crush on the boot-scraper, that's too cute.
And wow, that was perhaps the shortest video I've ever seen posted on the net, congratulations!
(However, it reveals that the "oh I need to lose weight" stuff is QUITE subjective as you look very fit to me!)
Defintely too short -we want MORE Bad Lady!
Cute kitty - I have a similar pic of Bad Cat posted today.
That video gets the award for brevity. Talk about leaving your audience wanting more.
I love that overcast night pic, and oh! to relax like a pussycat.
I'm envious of those long daylight hours, though I wouldn't want to be there in winter.
The cat is SUCH a cat.. love it.
And I agree with Crabby. You do look fit and I'm going to enter your video in the Guiness World Book for shortest film ever!
Brevity is the soul of discretion... or some such nonsense!
Mother was unsure of how to run the camera, and that was a good thing!
That video is kinda like a moving still photo! :)
Mizfit - sorry about the cat...
Crabby - he is crazy about that boot-scraper. And the strategically-placed bushes and loose clothing are hiding a variety of sins! (But thanks, anyway!)
Missicat - I'll come right over and check out Bad Cat!
dfLeah - I tried to video a little bit at midnight, but it is mostly black - the clouds rolled in. It didn't appear as dark in real life. Sigh.
Hilary - I've always wanted to be in the Guiness Book of World Records! It could be in two categories - shortest video film, and Bag Lady caught actually working!!
I looked away right as I pushed play and I missed the whole video! Haha!
Funny about the cat. We had a cat once who thought he was a dog. Kinda barked even; it was really strange.
Love that cat photo! And I also think you are looking pretty fit. All that fence fixing and calving must be good exercise - it sure sounds like it would be at any rate!
Gena - I laughed, too, when I blinked and missed it the first time!
I've had some strange cats over the years, but never one that barked... :)
Javachick - That cat is a total goof-ball!
And the bush and loose clothing in the video are really hiding a multitude of sins!
Cute little kitty!
Thanks, Sagan!
Love the photos Sis. What can I say about the video that hasn't been said? You are losing weight though.
Reb - it's a good thing I didn't post the video she took from the other side! (There were no disguising bushes to hide my belly!)
The clip was too short...we need more Bag Lady in action. Teach your mother in law how to use the camera and then she can follow you around and make a documentary about the day in the life of a rancher. I know I wouldn't be the only one who'd watch it!
Emily - HAHAHAHAHA....the Bag Lady would need a body-double!! She's such a klutz, y'all would be laughing too hard to appreciate all the information!
The kitty is so adorable!
SB - thanks! HE thinks so, too!
More Bag Lady! We want to see more Bag Lady! (Amy's attempt at wolf whistling is not encouraging although she means well.)
Oh, Amy - you'd be so disappointed! The Bag Lady is so... ordinary. Sigh.
Love the kitty photo - have a kitty a lot like that one!!
Izzybeth - hope yours is smarter!
ya big TEASE!!!!
Fitarella - it's not my fault, I swear!! My mother-in-law took 3 videos, all of the same duration!! Even if I knew how to put them all together, they still would last about 9 seconds all told!! (But at least she got my best side in this one!!:))
lol@Mizfit! I concur, it went by so fast. I wanted to see you chop something down. lol
Again beautiful pictures! Hope you're having a wonderful day!
Thanks, Maggie! Too bad the fencing didn't go as quickly as the video!! :)
