Bags and Bells (Well, Bell Peppers...)

The Bag Lady had a much better day yesterday. The Cowboy took her to a couple greenhouses and helped her pick out some very nice tomato plants and loads and loads of pepper plants! There are even blossoms on some of the plants, so they are further along than the ones she lost to the frost. The ones that are blooming are going into pots on her covered deck, as are the pepper plants. She even bought habanero peppers this time around....

As soon as she gets everything sorted out and planted, she'll post some photos.

In the meantime, she worked on her CartSmart Bags this week. (For more information on the bags, click here)

She is slowly coming up with a new line for summer. Of course, she doesn't make very many out of the same fabric - the bags are mostly unique - you don't want to see "your" bag on someone else's cart!!

Here are a couple photos of the new bags:

This is the very newest one, and because of the design on the fabric, the next one will be different!

If you are interested in ordering a bag, contact the Bag Lady at the email address in the sidebar.

Thanks to everyone who commented on her whiny post yesterday - she really appreciated all the support!

Habaneros. You are adventurous. I haven't had the courage to try anything that hot.
Congratulations on the summer line of bags.

Hey, glad things are better....How are the calves (calfs?) doing? Is Missicalf getting big?

Hi, Missicat! Yes, the calves are getting bigger all the time! They are all doing well - I'll try to post a photo of them soon.....

Habaneros...neato.
THAT will make some tasty salsa!
The bags look very happy and summery.

Thanks, Geosomin. I'm wondering if perhaps the habaneros might be a little more than I can handle..... :)

I like your site...especially the pepper stuff! Yum habanero peppers!

Thanks, sis! I like the new fabric, too. Still in the process of planting all the new plants.

Mark - thanks for stopping by, and for the compliment on my site! You'll have to check back later to see how the habaneros are faring!

I'm so jealous you have that many plants! Maybe you'll try the pepper just to let us know how hot it is (I would have a cold adult beverage handy in case you need it!)

I'm looking forward to getting my bag in the mail; I've mentioned it a gazillion times since you told me it was on the way! I'm just ready to quit using so many darn plastic bags when I run to the store every other day ; )

df Bag Lady,

I am so glad you are having a better day and am happy you bought some habanero peppers even tho' I have no idea what they are, and don't waste time telling me because the only peppers I eat are red and yellow bells.

The great news re: Cartsmart Bags is--are you ready--remember when the supermarket used to give me two cents every time I used it? Well, now they are giving me ~TA DA~ five cents every time I use it. I shall be rich in no time.

Emily - I shall post photos of the peppers soon! And I'm thinking from what I've heard about the habaneros, I might be needing more than one adult beverage!! :)

Maggie - The yellow bag is a classic...

dfTerrie - Woohoo - 5 cents!! You'll be rich in no time!! :)
