Hanging Out

The Bag Lady and the Rancher went to town for supper at the Rancher's brother's house on the weekend. The Rancher's sister-in-law's sister's grand-daughter (how's that for convoluted?) wanted to climb the tree in the back yard and Unka Wicker had to climb it, too.

It is a perfect climbing tree, if you are 4 years old and have an unka willing to climb it with you!

  1. That looks like a perfect climbing tree at any age. (I'm not jealous--all the trees are full of pollen now.)

  2. That is a great tree and a cool unka. I like the hazy effect through the window screen.

  5. I always did enjoy a good climbing tree at that age.

It was also always more fun when someone was there to share.

  6. I hope the branch doesn't snap off. Oh, yeah, that would only happen to me.

  7. Mmmm I love climbing trees. That looks like a good one! I used to enjoy climbing pine trees. They're good for climbing (provided they're big enough with sturdy branches!), but they're a wee bit prickly. And sappy. :)

  8. Trees are rated by their climb-ability around here (at least by one SnakeMaster). Kudos to a cool unka!

  9. Excellent! It sounds like a lot of fun was had by all. Believe it or not, I actually could translate that convoluted sentence? Isn't it great that tree-climbing weather is finally here? I think it is, anyway.

  10. I'm glad unka played along with her. That's a little easier perhaps for unka than bouncing on a tramp after a having a few! Everytime I go to my brother's place it never fails that there are my nieces and nephews who insist that I join in, after having a few of course!
