Well now. It's the first of October, so the Bag Lady thought she should probably do a bit of an update about the calves. For those of you who weren't around back in the spring, this might be a little boring, but the Bag Lady thought some of you might be interested in seeing how well your namesakes are doing!
Amazing, isn't it?
oh my gosh! They're all so cute!
ReplyDeleteAwwww :D
That's so cool! I nearly choked on my tea when I saw Misscalf! That's genius - will she be Missicow when she grows up?
ReplyDeleteTA x
THANKS.
ReplyDeleteI havent gotten a letter or email from my namesake in sooo long I was beginning to worry!
Aww Baggie that was SO cute. Our babies.. they grow so fast!
ReplyDeleteThat was so fun! If my cat grew that fast we'd be in big trouble, so it's nice to have a Crabby calf to keep up with instead.
ReplyDeleteThat was wonderful. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteCalf envy is Worse Than tomato envy!
ReplyDeleteMary Anne in Kentucky
I am in awe of this post. Thank you SO MUCH for putting it together for us!
ReplyDeleteAnd they grow up so fast!
Thanks for the update! I probably have gained an equal amount of weight. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteLooks like MizFit is doing stretches! How appropriate! :-)
Bad Kitten is growing fast too, have to keep a record of it to post at a future date.
Christine - they are, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteTA - don't ya love that one?! :) When she has her first calf, she will become Mrscow!!
Miz - I know, I know; they've been so busy eating and playing and growing, no matter how I nagged, they just wouldn't sit down at the computer!
Hil - they have grown so fast, and the summer went by so fast, it's incredible!
Crabby - sorry I haven't been better about posting updates....
where DOES the time go?!
dfLeah - You're welcome!
Mary Anne - sorry you didn't get in on the naming sessions. There's always next year!
SB - it took me AGES to get the photos all matched up! (I'm ashamed to admit some of the calves look so much alike, I may have made a mistake or two, but I think I got them all right!)
Missicat - I chose that picture of "Mizfit" for that exact reason! :)
And I'm looking forward to seeing lots of photos of Bad Kitten!
Aw...yay.
ReplyDeleteThey're so big now.
Thanks for doing that. It made my morning :)
Geo - you're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteThat was way too cool. They are adorable.
They're so cute!
ReplyDeleteAww How adorable. Love how you put music to your videos.
ReplyDeleteSagan - thanks! They are adorable, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteTricia - Gotta love the little guys!
Maggie - Thanks - I have fun trying to find music that goes along with the video!
What a great little video. I'm so happy Tidbit got an adoptive sib!
ReplyDeleteBG - I'm glad, too. I didn't want to upset you by posting a photo of his namesake, but I finally decided that Tidbit's spirit lives on in that calf!!
ReplyDeletei just wanna pinch their little cow cheeks!
ReplyDeleteNew*me - I know what you mean! Of course, they are pretty skittish, so I'm content if they will actually sniff my fingers. And I get all giddy if they allow me to pet them! (Very rare, indeed. In fact, Lewis is the only one who will consent to being touched, occasionally!)
ReplyDeleteWell done Sis. I love the music choice too. The photos don't show just how big they really are getting though do they!
ReplyDeleteHi, sis - no, it's kinda hard to actually depict how much bigger they really are!
ReplyDeleteOooooo...so adorable! I miss hanging out with cows (you know, and not eating them as I have a tendencey to do). I don't think you've lived til you've had a cow suck the salt off your fingers.
ReplyDeleteGod, I need a farm of my own.
Haley - that's so true! Until you've had a calf suck your fingers, your life is not complete!
ReplyDeleteNot only do they all look adorable, they look in wonderful condition.
ReplyDeleteI know that you got my two right because I still have their photo on the wall beside the computer. You'd never believe what a tiny little thing Dawn was all those months back.
Well done, Baggy.
Thanks, Dawn. From you, that's high praise! You wouldn't recognize that poor, crippled little calf now!
ReplyDeletedf Bag Lady,
ReplyDeleteFinally got here to see the amazing then and now of the calfs.
I don't want to brag, but that Farley is quite a looker!!
Terrie
dfTerrie - Farley IS quite a looker - go ahead and brag! :)
