Christine - to be honest, I don't think I've ever had red velvet cake, either! I'll have to google a recipe for it and give it a try. Just as soon as it cools down around here! (It's 30C - too hot to turn on the oven!)

I've had red velvet cake at work many times--I can't remember whose specialty it is, but whoever it is does a great job. About as good as anything chocolateless can be.

I think I came up as Strawberry Cake...and you know how much I like strawberries. I can't remember what it said though.
