Random Tuesday

Here is a random picture taken out in the Bag Lady's pasture the other day. She is hard at work on making up a new quiz for you, but isn't done quite yet.

Almost all the snow is gone, except for what was plowed into piles. The Bag Lady is itching to get to work in her garden, but she knows it's too early (and far too wet!).

Hope you have a great day.

  3. I didn't know you could possibly plow that much snow. Crazy!

  4. Rupal - it's finally going away! I grow potatoes, turnips, onions, garlic, peas, lettuce, spinach.... all kinds of things. I also grow tomatoes and peppers to make my own salsa! Yum!

Miz - here's your hint - study Canada! :) It isn't going to be too hard, really!

Gena - Oh yeah, there are still some big piles slowly diminishing - rather like glaciers!

  5. Very springy pic. It's kind of dry in town now, but I'm sure there are plenty of ponds and puddles.
I get it about itching to be in the garden. Got the same thing here.

  6. dfLeah - it's very dry in town here, too - just the odd pile of dirty plowed-up snow.
Hopefully we'll soon be blissfully gardening!!

  7. What about a quiz on your PM Celine Dion?
I'll study on my road trip.

  8. POD - maybe next time - but go ahead and study on that road trip of yours! (Can you hear the jealousy in my 'voice/writing'?) :)

dfTerrie - My sentiments, exactly! :)

  9. SOOOO glad to see the snow skip town :) I walked out the door this morning at 8 without a coat!!

  10. Annette - it's not quite warm enough here to go coatless in the morning, but yesterday afternoon I went to town wearing only a sweater over my short-sleeved shirt!

  11. Spread the random!

It is not dry here: two inches of rain in 36 hours. I'm seeing sunshine now, though, which means I must get some gardening done.

  12. Mary Anne - into each life a little rain must fall.... but 2 inches in 36 hours sounds a little extreme! :)

It'll make the garden grow, though, won't it?

  13. Hurray for getting rid of the snow! It's about time.

  14. I love the produce from a garden, but I confess that I'm not all about the work to get the produce.
I blame it on weeding the garden too much as a child... and slugs.

  15. Sagan - It certainly seems to have taken long enough! And there's still a chance of snow.... I hope they're wrong!

kcinnova - Eeeeuuuwww - you had to remind me about slugs, didn't you!? A few years ago, we had quite an infestation - to the point that I did not garden that year! And used a TON of salt.... (Actually got quite vindictive about it. Slimy little buggers!)

  16. I might actually get some seeds planted in time to put out this year. I just need to pick up some soil. It is so nice to see spring.

  17. So how about coming to work on my gaarden, then? ;)

Looking forward to the quiz. :)

  18. Reb - good for you! Gonna plant some veggies this year?

Hilary - gladly! (It's probably warmer at your house than it is here!) :)

  20. Missicat - oh yes, it's still muddy around here, and will be for awhile yet!

  22. So I should start studying? :)

  23. Redbush - hopefully we'll both be able to start gardening sometime soon!

Geo - we-ell, maybe! I'm trying to make it a little tougher than the last one, but shouldn't be too bad for Canadians... :)
