Good Morning Sunshine

This is what the sky looked like at about 8:15 this morning in the Bag Lady's neighbourhood.

And about 10 minutes later it looked all soft-focussy:

  2. It is, isn't it? That's the very best part about living here (and having my computer right beside the east-facing window....)
It is still really pretty - all sorta soft-focus now. Might have to brave the cold to take another picture!

  3. Pretty!

I really miss my east-facing bedroom window from when I lived in a house...

  5. Beautiful! I have actually seen a few snowflakes in my area the last couple days, which is not normal for my area. I would like one good, deep snow, so send any extra this way please!

  7. Thank you, dfBL. I love the sunrise. The winter ones have such texture and tone and they are far better in the country than the town.

  8. Missicat - I'm sending, I'm sending - it's not getting there?

Emily - wait until you're older....the hot flashes will get you out of bed early! :)

dfLeah - you're welcome. I love the sunrises in the winter. That's about the only thing I really love about winter.....:)

  10. TA - it is almost worth it! And it isn't really all that cold - about 12F right now. And supposed to be warmer on the weekend. Above freezing!

  15. Lovely, lovely, lovely! And it is nice that your sunrise happens about an hour and a half after mine. You are actually awake & alert enough to think to grab your camera and take photographs! (I have to take a quick peek out the window and then get kids ready for school.)

  17. Thanks, Sis!

Hilary - the sun rises so late in the winter, I've usually already had a pot of coffee by the time it appears!

Geo - well, at least you've got part of it....even if it is just the snow part!

kcinnova - that's where I have the advantage - no kids to get ready for anything!

dfTerrie - Thanks - I am feeling quite a bit better! Finally.
