If you drain plain yogurt through a cheese cloth or even a coffee filter and use the thicker yogurt for the base, you can add fresh or dried dill, seeded, blended and drained cucumber, lots of garlic and a bit of lemon juice. Put in a little shredded cheese, celery, red onion, chopped boiled eggs, and crumbled bacon. Very yummy!

I haven't made this, but it sounds worth trying and comes from The Joy of Cooking:

Green Beans with Onions, Tomatoes, and Dill

Warm 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet

Add 1 white onion, 1 large garlic clove (thinly sliced) and 1/4 teaspoon of dill seeds.

Cook gently over medium heat until the ontions have softened. Then add:

1 pound slender green beans
2 large tomatoes, finely chopped
1/4 cup water, stock, or tomato juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Simmer, covered, until the beans are tender, about 20 minutes.
