Of course, with this cold weather, I try not to let it go out!

BG - this is actually a little early for the extreme cold - our temps aren't usually this cold until January or February. We had temps in the 70s today and they'll drop to the 50s with overnight in the 30s by the end of the weekend. I've tried to get fires going in these new stoves several times since we moved, and even though (at the architect's insistence--he knew how airtight this house would be) they both have cold air intakes, I still can't get them to do more than smoulder unless I leave the fire door open.
The cows here don't get noticeably thick coats, but this year, looking at all the fuzzy horses, I'm expecting a lot of cold weather.

Mary Anne in Kentuckysolarityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03606487180967915130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8329622951839766826.post-67287232768279113772008-12-20T17:19:00.000-07:002008-12-20T17:19:00.000-07:00WOW.here? 80 todayhere? high of 30 on monday.STAY ...WOW.
here? 80 today
here? high of 30 on monday.

STAY WARM.
