The Bag Lady swears every year that she will be better organized when it comes to her paperwork, but in reality, she seems to get worse every year. Sigh.
When she closes her eyes, she sees paper. With figures on it.
The Bag Lady is hopeless when it comes to figures.
Why, oh why wasn't she born smart instead of funny-looking?

Ah yes...tax time. Fun on a bun.
I'm pretending it isn't there until the last minute...I can't imagine doing the papers for a farm...I get confues enough with just little old me. GIve me a pile of lab data and I'm fine, but throw other stuff at me and I get rather lost.
Geo - I've been trying to pretend the papers aren't there, too, but I can't see over them anymore, so they are hard to ignore....
I'm not looking forward to mine, either. Wish I hadn't been born lazy.

I hear you. Mine is NOW worse than usual because we have all my mother-in-law's stuff too.
Oh, poor Sister! This time of year sucks and you have so much paper with the farm - yuck!
dfLeah - ah, yes, I just wish I had been smart enough to file everything properly all year long. Sigh.
Melissa - oh dear! It's bad enough having to do your own without adding someone else's on top!

I haven't even thought about all the paperwork I have. I think that if I ignore it long enough, it will get done by itself! At any rate, Bag Lady, I don't envy you because I'm sure the ranch has a lot more paperwork than I would even want to imagine! Hopefully you'll get it all worked out soon!
Redbush - If I didn't put it all off for ever, it would be much easier to handle, wouldn't it?!
I make the same daggone vow - next year I'll keep receipts organized, and logged into the accounting program. Every year.. pppbbssstt!
The only time in my life I've ever been organized and non-pack-rat-ish was when I was pregnant - 12 years ago. That's really sad, isn't it!

I realy know exactly what you mean. I am finally back in New York and am leaving again shortly. While I am overjoyed to be here, I am miserable over the paper work that I must do before I leave again.
I am sure that with the farm there is a lot more paper!

This year my father's accountant just had a quadruple bypass instead of his usual pre-tax-season vacation. And he chose the field because he likes it! Don't you stress too much.
