Oh, wait -- do you have to be Canadian to know that song?
Well, whatever..... if I had a million dollars, I would give all of you medals for watching that video yesterday! Instead, I give you my heart-felt thanks.
The Bag Lady may be taking a day or two off over the weekend............ or not.
On the other hand:
she is suffering greatly from some split-personality disorder from having to constantly write in third-person (and way too much beer...) and she is taking a day off.
Love ya! *waving frantically from the barred windows*

It's Friday, isn't it?

It is indeed Friday.
I got to watch the video at last! I laughed out loud at "we're not exactly by the sea are we. Well not unless you count that big puddle..."
If I had a million dollars I would set up a documentary production company and commission Bag Lady to travel round the world with her camera. Bag Lady Goes Global!
Rest up this weekend, Bag Lady, take care.
TA x
Enjoy yourself and see you soon! (I hope!)
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that song.
and you.
take care of you.
Miz.
Have a good weekend. Meltdowns have their place. Enjoy yours.
I'm sorry to hear you're having a meltdown...I hope you and the Bag Lady recover quickly- LOL!
I think I know that song... but now trying to remember who sings it is driving me nuts? Barenaked Ladies? (If that's wrong then I swear that really is a band!)
Have a great weekend and just relax. I'm sure all your other loyal followers would agree that we won't abandon your blog if you need to take a break (as long as it's short!)
Have a great weekend - it's a long holiday weekend here in the States! YAY!
Baggie, enjoy the Labour Day weekend and go and buy yourself a new green dress but not real green - that would be cruel. ;) Nah I don't think you need to be Canadian to know that one.
I love that song; no it's not a Canadian thing. (and someone already beat me to the "not a real green dress, that's cruel line").
Have a good weekend
TA - that would be so cool!!! Bag Lady Goes Global! Thanks!
It's a long weekend here, but it's starting to look as though our plans have been shot down. Sigh.
Christine - Thanks - if we don't go camping, I'll be hanging around here.
Miz - thanks - I just wish I could remember all the words to that song. Must be getting old.
dfLeah - the way our forecast was looking, it would be more of freeze-down. I'm almost afraid to look at the weather forecast today.
Emily - thanks! Yes, it is the Barenaked Ladies who sing that - you're not crazy (actually, it's the Canadians who are crazy, but in a quiet, reserved way! :))
Missicat - it's a long weekend here, too, but the Rancher might have to work. Sigh.
Hilary - enjoy your weekend, too, with your son at home! (I'm not sure if green is my colour....!)
Oops, Tricia - we were posting at the same time!
I didn't realize the Barenaked Ladies were so popular in the States!
We get a lot of the music and movies, etc. that is produced in the States, but I'm never sure how much of the Canadian stuff goes the other way.
Go enjoy a little "me" time, BL! You deserve it.
Have a nice melt-down Sis. Enjoy the weekend in spite of the weather!
BG - thanks! I'll do my best.
Reb - I dunno - tomorrow's high is supposed to be 11C. That is pretty cold.... we'll need a big-ass campfire to keep us warm!
(I'm so glad I decided to post in first person.)
I have no idea what song y'all are talking about. Is it good for exercising to? I need some good exercise music.
Hang in there, Baggy.
(I mean "blog post" in the first person.)
Also I forgot to watch the video!!! Must get to that tonite. Happy Labor Day all you Amurikins.
(Is it Labor Day in Canada too? Or Labour Day I suppose?)
I'm not Canadian, and I LOVE that song! enjoyed your video too!
Have a nice relaxing weekend.
You deserve it.
Take the time off and enjoy. I was just having a meltdown myself. I declared a "mommy isn't cooking night" and the family can choose from a bowl of cereal or a sandwich. Ahh...minimal dishes :)
Now you have me whistling "If I had a million etc etc etc " and I won't be able to get it out of my head all weekend.... GRRRRR!
Melissa - I'm not sure it's fast enough for exercising, but it has a snappy little beat.
And yes, it's Labour Day in Canada. Happy Labor Day to you!
Debby - glad to hear you enjoyed the video! Thanks for stopping by.
Geo - I'm hoping the weekend will be relaxing - so far, it's pretty quiet. Except for the rain pounding on the roof. Hoping it'll stop and we can camp out for a night or two.
New*me - I made a big pot of chili for supper....easy. Tomorrow, I'll do some fried chicken and a few other things, just in case we get to go camping.
Shammickite - Oops, sorry! To tell the truth, it's been stuck in my head, too..... sigh.
